Jane Hancock ’66

Jane has been living in the Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan for the past eleven years. She is helping the Music of Bhutan Research Center to preserve the traditional and ancient music through video documentaries, CDs and publications. Her organization received the Gold Merit Award from the King of Bhutan for excellence in music research. Jane recently co-wrote a children’s book about the legendary Bhutanese musician, Aku Tongmi, who composed the country’s national anthem. She hopes the book will inspire children to appreciate and preserve their precious intangible culture. She was a speaker at the International Literary Festival in Bhutan in 2019. Jane also teaches musical theater, recorder and chess in local schools. If anyone is planning to visit the unique and wonderful country of Bhutan, Presentation has her email to contact her.

Cindy lives in Los Angeles, has been married for 32 years and is a mother of two. Cindy has been affiliated with Kaiser Hospital for 15 years and also a realtor at Rodeo Realty.

Elizabeth Sanchez ’01 Pane

Elizabeth and Justin Pane welcomed Aroa Scout Pane. Aroa means “love” in Maori, the language of the indigenous people of New Zealand, where Elizabeth and Justin were married in 2011. The name Scout represents fun, adventure, creativity and exploration.

Sarah Kuhs ’11 Houts

Sarah graduated in May of this year with her Masters in Teaching from Santa Clara University. She is in her fourth year of teaching in the Diocese of San Jose. In July, Sarah married Brian Houts, with two Pres girls by her side as bridesmaids and many other Pres girls in attendance.

Claire graduated with president’s honors from California State University Long Beach with a major in Liberal Studies. Her plans after college include getting her multiple subject teaching credential from CSULB, then fulfilling her dream of becoming a kindergarten teacher.

Katie graduated from UC Davis in June 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and two minors in Sustainability in the Built Environment & Construction Engineering and Management. Katie is attending UC Berkeley to pursue a Master of Science in Civil & Environmental Engineering through their Energy, Civil Infrastructure and Climate graduate program.

Jillian Macleod ‘16

Jillian graduated with Honors from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in Political Science with an emphasis on American Politics, as well as a Minor in Feminist Studies. She will be continuing her education at UC Hastings School of Law in the fall. Jillian is excited to turn her passion for the law and advocating for people with disabilities into a career.

Lee graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Hospitality Management from Endicott College and accepted the position of Front of House Manager for Hale Street Tavern, Beverly, MA.

Marissa graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelors of Arts in Biochemistry and a minor in Business Administration. She will be working on the DMPK team at Regulus, a company in La Jolla that uses protein therapeutics in drug design to treat various inflammatory diseases. She is also in the process of preparing to apply to medical school.

Kate graduated from Regis University’s Loretto Heights School of Nursing with an Honors Bachelors of Science in Nursing. She was awarded the Excellence in Nursing Award and plans to begin work at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Lakewood, CO this August.

Liana graduated with Highest Honors from Georgia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Minor in French. She's now headed to Madison, Wisconsin to work at Epic as a Technical Solutions Engineer!

Mary Sullivan '16

Mary has recently graduated from the University of Portland with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing with Minors in Spanish and Entrepreneurship & Innovation Management (EIM). During her time at UP, she was an Entrepreneurship Scholar and the University's first ever recipient of the World Citizen Certification. She now works for Oxalis, a tech start up based in Portland, OR, as an Associate Consultant where she is able to continue to follow her passion for Entrepreneurship.

Chandler just graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Environmental Biology and a minor in Chemistry with high distinction and honors in her major. She will be continuing her education in pursuit of PhD in plant biology at UC Berkeley in the fall. Go Panthers! Go Bears!

Nisha graduated from Harvey Mudd College in May 2016 with a B.S. in Computer Science and Minors in Economics and Dance. She will work at Microsoft as a software engineer after graduation.

Carolynn graduated from San Diego State University as Nursing major. Her plan is to become a labor and delivery nurse and go back to graduate school to become a midwife.

Hailey Webb '16

Hailey graduated from Montana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science - Geospatial and Environmental Analysis. She has hopeful plans to start her PhD next fall in Ecology studying the impact of climate change on Arctic ecosystems. In the meantime, she is working as a Remote Sensing Scientist as well as writing a couple manuscripts that her research team hopes to publish in the next year.

Adriana Ferrari '17

Adriana has spent the past three years doing many things in college such as interning, studying abroad and joining a sorority. This past spring she was elected the Chapter President of her sorority, Pi Beta Phi at Chapman University, where she leads 210 women on campus in philanthropy, sisterhoods, recruitment and more! She also met up with a fellow Pi Phi and Pres alumna, Mia Bellafronto, at the National Pi Phi Conference in St. Louis this past January.

Meaghan performed “People Will Say We’re in Love” from Oklahoma for her sophomore class performance final at Marymount Manhattan College in New York.
