INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the 2018 Avid Consumer Guide. This guide features every product currently in our range and includes a whole host of new and innovative items. This year we have produced the Avid Consumer Guide in no less than five different languages, as Avid continues to grow in popularity across Europe. You can be sure of several things when purchasing an Avid product, all of our products have been developed and designed by our in-house development team which is headed up by Jason Umney. Jason has worked in the trade in several positions and over the last few years he has flourished in the role of Avid Product Development Manager. Jason works alongside some of the best CAD & Graphic Designers in the industry to produce the very best finished products possible. Every product in the range has been finished to the highest standard possible and from materials that are built to stand the test of time. Most importantly for us, all of our products have been designed, developed and tested by Carp anglers for Carp anglers. Working closely with our team of consultants has helped us to produce some of the most innovative products you see on the bank today. 2018 has seen us add some great new products and industry firsts in to the range. The Benchmark Memory Foam Systems are the first sleep systems on the market to feature a 100% memory foam mattress. Coupled with a lightweight frame and our unique Rock-Steady™leg system, we believe that the Benchmark Memory Foam Systems are the best on the market. We have also backed up the Benchmark Memory Foam Systems with the Benchmark Memory Foam Chair which is also an industry first and in our opinion, the most comfortable chair available today. The Bivvy Organiser has created quite the stir since we revealed it to the public late last year and we believe that anglers everywhere will soon be taking advantage of this unique product. Our new Stormshield range is also something to look out for which features two waterproof Bedchair Bags, two Swag Bags & the Stormshield Bedchair Cover. The Outline End Tackle range hogged much of the media limelight in 2017 and we are extremely proud of what we have achieved. The MKII version features a stylish storm peak, extending the already generous coverage area even further. CURVEX RODS The Curvex range of carp rods have been specifically designed with the European angler in mind. As you drop your rig from the boat, one bead should be set a few feet above your rig and the other should be positioned a couple of feet over depth, to give the float a little bit of movement.
