It’s been a long, hard road for the X-Men of late, having fought a number of big battles, most recently repelling an all-out attack from legions of vampires led by Dracula’s son, Xarus. Cyclops was forced to take drastic measures, including resurrecting Dracula from the dead to help fight Xarus and temporarily dampening Wolverine’s healing power without his knowledge, allowing him to be turned into a vampire and then returned to health at a strategic moment in battle. With Xarus now defeated, a shaky truce made with Dracula and Wolverine recovered from his bout of vampirism, Cyclops turns his eyes to the future to determine the next step for the X-Men.
