“This British brand is the perfect addition to any home. Available in blue or red, it’s a real staple for many wedding gift lists.”

Vintage Toast Rack Culinary Concepts @ Prezola £54.95

T.G. GREEN WAS founded by Thomas Goodwin Green back in 1864. Rumour has it that he bought up an existing pottery factory while he was on his honeymoon with his new wife, Mary Tenniel, the sister of Punch and Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland illustrator Sir John Tenniel. One of the companies most popular lines has always been Cornishware which was first produced in 1924. It was created using a nifty lathe-turning technique that scraped blue slip away from its beautiful ceramics to reveal white bands of clay beneath. Those stripes reminded an employee of the blue skies and white-crested waves of Cornwall, which is how Cornishware got its name. Still a great British brand to this day, Cornishware is a very popular tableware collection added to many gift lists.

THIS EYE-CATCHING collection is a great way to mix traditional china with on-trend styles such as gold and polka dots to dress up your tea parties. We mixed the collection with LSA International’s Polka range - a wonderfully colourful collection of pearly glassware. The real star of the teatime table has to be the Royal White teapot from Pip Studio. We love this blue and gold design. Amsterdam-based homewares designer Anke van der Endt (Pip is her childhood nickname, alter ego and brand inspiration) set up her own label in 2007 and is on a quest to bring sparkle into everyday life. Her collections are designed to be timeless and mix and match with each other – the perfect choice for a wedding list and a great excuse for future presents.

WITH A HISTORY that spans more than 100 years, the Georg Jensen brand represents quality craftsmanship and timeless design. Danish silversmith Georg set up the company back in 1904, determined to create pieces with function and beauty. (We can’t argue with design principles from the happiest nation on earth!) He also had a keen eye for design talent and gathered artisans whose original work we still enjoy today. Our pick of the collection is the curvy Cobra candlesticks. As a set of three, these silver candlesticks are standout pieces that make a great centrepiece for entertaining friends – or just the thing when a little soft candlelight is called for after a hard day.

AFTER THE BIG DAY you’ll definitely want to put your tableware wedding gifts to use and impress your friends with a fancy dinner party. B.LOVED’s Louise Beukes gives us some advice on how to set the table like a pro. When hosting a dinner party or event, the tableware is one of the first things your guests will see, and sets the tone for the whole evening. For formal occasions, I love to make my guests feel special by choosing delicate, elegant tableware. For everyday use, a set of microwave and dishwasher-safe tableware is more durable and practical.

1

It’s easy to get bamboozled by the different types of china on offer! All you need to remember is that porcelain is the hardest and bone china the strongest, with everything else falling in between. Porcelain is the most versatile choice for everyday use, while bone china offers a more refined look to save for special events.

2

Depending on the type of food you’re serving, you might also want to consider the shape of your plates. For European-style meals, a traditional rim-shaped plate is best. However, for Eastern foods a coupe-shaped plate accommodates more exotic dishes. I also like to experiment with more unusual plates, and especially love Jasper Conran’s Baroque for Wedgwood.

3

I always think plain white tableware creates a refined and elegant look - it’s practical, cost-effective and showcases food beautifully. It’s also easy to coordinate with more ornate pieces, stemware and flatware. If you are going for colour, try sticking to a minimal palette and perhaps mixing some plain pieces in too. For special occasions, add pieces with metal embellishments but beware these delicate items often need handwashing and are definitely not microwave safe! My favourite coloured pieces come from Royal Doulton’s collection.

4

If you are tempted by patterns, there are three basic styles to choose from: Classic - from art-deco straight lines to elegant rococo swirls and scrolls, classic dinnerware is best for formal settings. It looks best when the design is carried through into the stemware and flatware. Romantic - romantic designs use floral patterns and often depict living things, such as birds, shells and fruit. Think Wedgwood or Royal Doulton. Modern - these often combine geometric and abstract

5

16

motifs, such as dots, triangles and other shapes. I love Jonathon Adler’s contemporary designs Don’t be scared to mix and match! Combine plain and patterned pieces to create a fun, contemporary look just perfect for informal brunches and Sunday lunches. For more formal events, a basic white set is instantly transformed with coloured glass charger plates and stemware. LSA have the best collection of coloured glassware for modern tables, while DRH has some pretty pieces which would work well in a more traditional setting.

6

The more formal the event, the more pieces you’ll need to create your place setting. For a formal occasion the table should be set with dinner, salad, dessert and bread plate, cutlery for each course and red, white and water glasses. It’s a nice touch to add a place card too! For more

INFORMAL

FORMAL

There are two main types of table settings: informal and formal. Decide on your style and then refer to our handy guide above to show you how you should set your table when hosting guests in your own home.

informal occasions you can forgo the water glass, additional plates and place card.

down, and remember you can even use cake stands to elevate the dishes for easier access!

The cutlery and glassware you choose should compliment the style and shape of your dinner service. Simple, clear glassware always looks sophisticated as does silver cutlery, but you can add interest to your place settings using coloured glassware and patterned cutlery that coordinates with the rest of your service. For a bang-on-trend touch, consider copper cutlery like the stylish Oslo set from Canvas Home.

Nothing sets off a beautifully set table more than gorgeous linens. Choose patterned, plain or textured and make sure to complement the overall look. I love The Linen Works ranges which are both elegant and luxurious.

8

For catered events, food is usually served straight to the table already plated, but for more informal dinners – and increasingly at weddings – family-style dishes and platters are popular. When opting for this style of service, ensure there is enough space on the table to put dishes

DESIGNER FOCUS K E L LY H O P P E N L O N D O N

Tell us a little bit about yourself and your work? I’ve been an interior designer and entrepreneur for 40 years. I also design home products, write books and give inspirational talks about my work. I knew what I wanted to do from an early age and began my career at 16 when I left school. I was good at it and stuck with it. It has been my only job and I absolutely love it. What would be your top picks for a wedding gift list from your range and why? I would have to start with my Zen tableware, I adore the rustic charm and the three neutral tones look so beautiful together. Egyptian cotton bed linen would also be on the list as there is simply nothing more indulgent than sleeping in luxurious linens. In my opinion, you can never have enough cushions, so I would add some of my signature banded cushions in a range of complimentary neutral tones. Who were your inspirations when you were starting out in your career? There are many people who have been an inspiration to me, such as Ralph Lauren and John Frieda - both extraordinary individuals who have always been true to their brand. But I have to say my mother is my mentor, she is amazing - she has always worked so hard running a successful business and still does to this day. How have your tastes and inspirations changed? Whether my inspirations come from food, fashion, music, architecture or art I never stop creating. It’s a passion, though my philosophy and key design principles have remained the same. I think it all comes down to understanding form, scale, texture and colour - and striking the balance. What, in your opinion, makes a house a home? For me, home is all about family. Though I always say that a home is not finished until you have added flowers, art and your own treasured collection of objects.

influence. There is something about the Eastern love of simplicity and order that, when mixed with the best of contemporary Western design, is decidedly modern – it is what completes my interiors. Can you tell us a little bit about Kelly Hoppen London and why launching your own brand appealed to you? During my 40-year career, I have found myself constantly asked questions about how I design and where I source pieces, so I wanted to create a collection of beautiful, complementary homewares, supported by editorial content to provide people with the tools and confidence to create the homes of their dreams. How would you describe the brand? Inspirational, beautiful, affordable, luxurious homewares. How do you start designing a new range? It will always begin with a mood board, I’m a very visual person and love to build up a ‘look’ or ‘collection’ through layering and curating images. Tell us about the design and manufacturing process. From my years of experience working as an interior designer and building up an expansive list of contacts, we have been able to source the finest materials and suppliers from around the world to ensure the quality of our products is at an absolute premium. Tell us about your 2016 product range and what has influenced it? My latest collection of Home Jewellery will introduce a softer aesthetic, with a blend of bronze, rose gold and copper alongside ceramics and glass. I love to play with the balance of masculine and feminine. In addition to this, Pop Art is a huge inspiration for me at the moment – mixing pops of colour with statement shapes and bold graphics.

You’ve been called the Queen of Taupe. What is it you love about neutrals? I’m known for my neutral palette and taupe is one of my signature colours. It is such a beautiful colour, neither being too warm, nor being too cool. Taupe is calm, quiet, and very easy to live with. It is not overbearing and it does not shout out and demand attention. For this reason taupe is ideal to use in instilling a sense of calm into a room. It is the perfect colour to provide a remedy to the stressful pace of frenetic modern life.

What do you think are the main interiors trends our couples should look out for in 2016? The trends I see coming and staying are more eclectic than ever with a lot of thought behind them. Woods, ceramic and stone are the most important elements in a home as they are a great base and starting point for people to build on. Unseen lighting is the newest trend for lights but the ones that everyone will want to have are white ironwork lights. Big coffee tables are very on trend at the moment, and the larger the coffee table the better! The four metals that are set to be the biggest trend are bronze, nickel, rose gold, white wrought iron and beaten black metal.

Apart from colour, what else are your signature looks? As well as my love for neutrals, I’m known for the clean lines of my designs with an East-meets-West inspired

Is it possible to create a high-end look on a budget? Absolutely – that is what the Kelly Hoppen London brand ethos is all about!

Her eye for detail and luxury is evident throughout the Prezola website too, where she curates only the best brands and most elegant pieces - any of which would make the perfect addition to a newlywed home! WHAT’S YOUR INTERIOR STYLE? Our tastes are quite eclectic as we have collected various

objects along the way. We are currently living in a beautiful Georgian house in Wiltshire which we love but have not had the time to develop fully. Ali would call our current taste ‘Modern Country’ as we still have all the lovely old features of our house - fireplaces, cornicing and stone floors - but love mixing it up with modern accessories. We use ambient lighting in our home (alongside numerous candles!) and with natural flooring all over the house, we love to use lots of rugs to add texture and warmth.

HOW CAN NEWLYWEDS STAMP THEIR JOINT PERSONALITY ON THEIR HOME? Don’t be boring! You need essentials such as bedding or towels but why not try to inject a bit of fun by choosing interesting brands such as Anorak or Pip Studio alongside quality staples such as The White Company. For kitchen linens, we love the typography of Victoria Eggs designs. I am a huge fan of ceramics and prints in the home and I think they make wonderfully personal gifts. Ben Rothery’s quirky animal prints are one of my favourite recent finds.

DESIGNER FOCUS CLARISSA HULSE

Let us introduce you to Clarissa Hulse Clarissa is one of the leading lights of the British textile world, uncompromising in her passion to deliver the ultimate combination of colour, print and fabrics. She produces beautiful and luxurious home accessories, wallpapers and fabrics, selling in both top notch department stores such as Heals, House of Fraser, John Lewis, Liberty, and Selfridges and across the world in exclusive boutiques. How did you get into design? I have a strong interest in textiles that I inherited from my mother. We spent lots of time in markets when I was a child as she really enjoyed making cushions and throws with local fabrics, wherever we were living in the world. When I was around 12 years old, I remember going on a French exchange trip and discovering a silk painting kit. I spent my entire exchange painting silks and it sparked an interest that propelled me to study textile design at Brighton Art College. Who were your inspirations? Karl Blossfeldt is a really talented black and white plant photographer. His photographs are stunning, graphic closeups of natural beauty and I definitely find them inspiring. I’m also a big fan of the work of Andy Goldsworthy, a talented sculptor and photographer. How would you describe your brand? We produce luxury home accessories with an emphasis on bright, vibrant colour with botanical designs. What’s the history behind the Clarissa Hulse brand? Upon graduation I began in the scarf business. In 1994 my first collection of hand-printed scarves were snapped up by New York stores Barney’s and Takashimaya. When the scarf market became stagnant, I turned my hand to home accessories, beginning with cushions. I have been in the business now for fifteen years and the brand has evolved to incorporate many more products such as bed linen, towels, lampshades and gift items. How do you start to create a new design? My design process begins with long nature walks either in the UK or on holiday. I take photographs of plants and use these as a starting point for a design. I don’t mess around too much with the original plant imagery as I think it can begin to look contrived, but we do edit and touch up the design either by hand or on the computer. We expose the design onto screens and hand-print in various colours so we can assess what works and what doesn’t! Tell us a bit about the manufacturing process Our recent bed linen range was a particularly complicated design process. We printed onto a base of hand painted

watercolour paper, creating a layered patchwork design. I prefer to work by hand on these things rather than a computer – it’s a lot more fun playing around with the colours and shapes this way. Our cushions are hand-printed and cut in our studio in Highbury and we then have them sewn at a social enterprise in Whitechapel. Where did your love of colour come from? I think it is a combination of my mother’s flair for colour as well as all the time we spent browsing in markets and living in exotic countries when I was a child. Tell us a bit about your 2016 range? Our 2016 range is pretty exciting. The bed linen has seen a real evolution from our original patchwork designs to the updated watercolour patchwork which incorporates watercolour painted stripes overlaid with screen-printed designs. I have gone even bolder with colour and upped the neon and metallics! This is also the first time we have experimented with reversible bed linen. The cushions are designed to be layered on the bedlinen and I have used some really intricate embellishment which I think is really special. What has influenced your 2016 range? The collection is very much influenced by the Wiltshire countryside. My friend has a gorgeous house and garden there that I love to visit and the designs are inspired by the rolling hills of the English landscape. Was there a defining point in your career, and if so, how did it shape you as a designer? I think that beginning to work with Harlequin on wallpaper and fabric collections was a real turning point. When you go it alone as a designer, it is hard to have access to good manufacturers and state-of-the-art technologies but by working with such an huge company suddenly so much more was made possible. If you could live the life of another designer or creative, for a day, who would it be, and why? Rebecca Louise Law. She creates floral art installations that look like loads of fun and seem quite stress-free - but maybe everything looks that way from the outside! What is your interior design style like at home? Maximalist and eclectic. Unsurprisingly I use a lot of colour and am not afraid of cluttering the place with books and trinkets from my travels. What would be on your wedding gift list? Lots of lovely kitchenware – I love beautiful ceramics and have a large collection of bowls! I also love Nkuku’s cute copper frames. I probably have enough cushions and bed linen to be honest!

Choosing your bed linen EXPERT ADVICE FROM THE WHITE C O M P A N Y F O R A G R E AT S L E E P

Oxford Pillowcase The White Company @ Prezola £22.00

A BEDROOM SHOULD always be a place of retreat, rest and relaxation. The starting point for the perfect bedroom has to be beautiful-quality bed linen, made from the best quality yarn. Here’s what you need to consider: Pillowcase - Housewife or Oxford? A Housewife pillowcase is an edge-to-edge pillowcase which fits to the contours of your pillow. An Oxford pillowcase has an additional border over the seamed edge which can make the pillowcase look deceptively large. What you choose is simply down to preference however when layering pillows, use a plain coordinating Housewife underneath.

26

Fitted Sheet The elasticised corners on a fitted sheet keep it secure and prevent it coming untucked as you move around in your sleep. Before you buy, check that the sheet has deep enough sides to fit your mattress and topper - deep-fitted sheets are perfect for a deeper mattress. Flat Sheets Using a flat sheet is essential if you make a bed with a bedspread. It can also be a good idea to use one with a duvet too as it will give the bed a beautifully tailored finish. When you’re making your bed, make sure that the right side of the sheet is facing down against the mattress

so that when you turn it back to create a cuff at the top, any embroidery or detailing will be on show. The bottom of the sheet can be finished neatly with tailored corners. Duvet Cover As the name suggests, this is what is used over your duvet. They come in a ‘bag’ which is an edge to edge seamed cover, or an ‘Oxford’, which has an additional border to the duvet cover, similar to the pillow cases. If you find that you and your partner battle for possession of the duvet, choose a duvet size one size larger than your bed size, to give you those all-important extra inches! Valance Many divan bases do not necessarily match the decor of a bedroom, unless they have a matching headboard. So using a valance over the base covers the divan while still allowing access to storage - and it really gives your bed a beautiful finishing touch. WHAT FABRIC SHOULD YOU CHOOSE? Pure Cotton Pure cotton is the most widely used fibre for bed linen. Durable, easy to launder and long-lasting, it is renowned for its natural breathability and cool feeling that makes it very comfortable to sleep in. Egyptian Cotton Grown from the cotton plant Gossypium, Egyptian cotton is one of the finest types of cotton. Easy-Care Cotton/Poly In modern life, easy-care bed linen is essential, but beware of poor quality easy-care that will soon bobble, and any easy-care finishes that will wash out.

“Fold your bed linen into a manageable size for your ironing board and iron right side out. It’s really worth investing in a wide ironing board and also a good-quality steam iron. I have one with a large removable water tank - avoid pressurised irons, though, as you can wait up to 20 minutes for the pressure to reduce before you can re-fill.” Chrissie Rucker MBE, founder of The White Company

Keep Your Whites White We recommend that all bed linen be separated into light or dark colours. For best results, select a non-biological detergent containing no optical whiteners, bleaching agents or enzymes that can cause colours to fade or become patchy. These can also damage fabrics. For bedlinen with colour, use special colour-safe detergent that doesn’t contain bleaching agents. Ironing For best results, iron bed linens while still slightly damp, using a steam iron. In the event that linens have become bone-dry, we advise re-damping with a water spray before ironing. As with a shirt collar, always iron the corners of pillowcases from the outside inwards to avoid corner creasing. If the item is embroidered or embellished, iron this area on the reverse to enhance and protect it.

Washed Linen Made from the Flax plant, linen’s unique, thermoinsulation property works to keep you cool in summer and traps your body heat to make you cosy in winter too. It is regarded as one of the most beautiful fabrics to sleep under and is loved for its blissful comfort and breathability. With laundering and age, linen softens to a lovely soft handle.

STORING YOUR BED LINEN Make sure your linen is completely dry before you put it away. Store it in a clean, dust-free place on a flat surface and away from direct sunlight that could bleach and mark it. A linen cupboard is ideal but there are countless other places to store your bed linen. For example, in a divan, drawers under the bed, an ottoman or in a lined bottom drawer. If you are using an airing cupboard, make sure you line the shelves with non-marking paper. To save you searching endlessly for all your various bed linens, create separate piles for each bedroom and store each washed set in a spare pillowcase.

CARING FOR YOUR BED LINEN Washing your bed linen once a week will ensure you always have fresh-smelling sheets. Leaving it longer may cause discolouration, especially with white linens. Contrary to popular belief, fine white linens should not be boil washed, especially since modern detergents now achieve excellent results at low temperatures.

SCENTING YOUR LINEN There is nothing lovelier than lavender-scented linen. It’s easy to achieve - simply store your sheets alongside scented sachets and spritz with linen spray or pillow mist. What’s more, if you do this just before you settle down to sleep, the bedroom will also smell wonderfully fresh and soothing.

ABOUT GRAHAM & GREEN Founded in 1974, Graham & Green is an independent family run interiors business bringing super stylish home accessories and unique gift ideas to Prezola. The company was founded in 1974 when Antonia Graham (the mother of current Managing Director, Jamie Graham) opened her first shop in Notting Hill. Inspired by her travels around the world, her bohemian West London community and growing up in a house filled with colourful rugs and textiles, Antonia wanted to create a colourful eclectic look as an antidote to the sea of magnolia of the time. Today, Graham & Green is the by-word for boho chic. The look is a contemporary mix of old and new inspired by interesting finds brought home from travels abroad. Global, glamorous and individual, many of the gorgeous products are designed by Jamie Graham and manufactured in India by the same suppliers that Antonia found forty years ago. From exotic ceramics and decorative textiles, you’ll love Graham & Green’s unique selection of furniture, gifts and accessories for your gift list.

Our honeymoon GABI SHEEN AND HER HUSBAND CHRIS SHARE THEIR HONEYMOON EXPERIENCE WITH PREZOLA

EDDIE JUDD PHOTOGRAPHY

A helicopter ride over Grand Canyon

Chris and I got married on 23rd May 2015 at Almonry Barn, Somerset. We were blessed with the sunniest blue-sky day and it truly was the best day ever surrounded by all of our favourite people. The barn is believed to be the oldest Medieval barn in England and surrounded by a quintessentially English field, scattered with daisies. It provided the perfect location with jazz playing, mini golf to keep the guests entertained and a ‘pimp your prosecco’ station. We loved every second. I enjoyed every aspect of wedding planning and wish I could do it all over again!

Set of 4 champagne saucers LSA @ Prezola £46.00

OUR HONEYMOON was planned by Chris - I left the whole thing up to him. It meant there was one less thing for me to worry about and, as Chris typically plans our summer holidays, I wasn’t too worried about handing this responsibility over to him. I had a few musts – I wanted to have some sunshine at some point and some luxury included too. Chris planned us the trip of a lifetime: 5 nights in Las Vegas, 9 nights in Montego Bay, Jamaica and finishing the honeymoon with 5 nights in New York. I hadn’t been to any of these places and Las Vegas and New York were in my top list of dream destinations so he did a great job! We made such amazing memories that we will treasure forever. We decided to go for a Prezola list as we loved that we could combine monetary gifts for our honeymoon along with more traditional items for the home. We knew having this option would please our guests. We were won over by the functionality of the Prezola honeymoon lists where guests can pay for an activity rather than just feel they are contributing towards a larger sum of money. We asked for a range of items

from breakfast in bed, massage treatments and cocktails to dinners, watersport activities to tickets to a Frank Sinatra show, Broadway tickets to a Cirque Du Soleil show in Las Vegas and - our favourite - a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon This was actually the first present bought on our list. Along with contributions to our honeymoon we also asked for gifts. It was great to be able to have both options on one list and we were so surprised by the amazing generosity of our guests. My favourite gifts were my KitchenAid Artisan blender, which I use to whizz up healthy smoothies and soups, and my Roberts Radio, which I have on in the office when I am working at home. The honeymoon contributions allowed us to go to town with the honeymoon and we had fun sending photos of ourselves to the guests who had treated us to the activities while we were away.

GABI SHEEN is Director of bridal PR agency Sweetpea PR (www.sweetpeapr.com). Having worked in the industry for years – previously as marketing manager at the National Wedding Shows - I set up my own PR agency back in 2014 along with my twin sister. We are so privileged to get to work with some of the UK’s leading bridal suppliers planning their PR campaigns and bridal events. I am so lucky to work in such a pretty and creative industry, and for me the wedding bubble never has to burst!

IT’S A BIT of a myth that most grooms aren’t interested when it come to the wedding gift list. We tend to have a real interest and pride in our homes these days and for most style-savvy couples there’s a lot of joint decision making and shared taste - as there should be. Friends and family of the groom may not know the bride quite as well and want to buy a gift the groom will like. I’ve seen plenty of feedback from guests saying there isn’t anything ‘blokey’ on the list and so, short of adding power drills and pint glasses, I’ve come up with a few of my own favourites which just happen to tick the ‘bloke’ box too...

Trivial Pursuit Master Edition - £39.99

KNIVES 2. Wüsthof Classic Ikon OK, these aren’t cheap but you’re not officially married until you’ve carved a turkey the size of a labradoodle. It’s the law. Separate knives are a great way to get a full collection without one person having to splash out. Great for follow up birthday and Christmas gifts too, which avoid jumpers and Lynx gift sets for a few years.

GLASSWARE 3 . Dartington Biarritz Decanter & Tumbler There’s something terribly grown up and cool about owning a heavy decanter with ambercoloured fluid in it, straight out of Mad Men. You’ll need the perfect tumbler and these beauties weigh as much as a small coffee table so you’ll definitely know you’re holding one. Go the whole hog and order the matching ice bucket for a 60’s New York City vibe.

Royal Brierley Biarritz Decanter - £135.00

BOARD GAMES 1. Trivial Pursuit: Master Edition We sell hundreds of board games each year and this Master Edition has nearly 3,000 questions so you won’t get through them easily. Perfect for lazy Sunday afternoons or cocktailfuelled couples’ nights guaranteed to end in an argument over the Albanian unit of currency.

Sage by Heston Blumental Coffee Machine - £549.99

“Personally, I’m all about B&O. My Bluetooth speaker has seen plenty of beach, garden and home action!”

COFFEE MACHINE 7. Sage Heston Blumenthal Barista Express I’m a coffee-lover and I do slightly judge my friends on their counter-top hardware. It’s a big ticket item but if there’s a KitchenAid on the list, you’re definitely allowed to add this. WALL ART 8. Bold & Noble Illustrated Letter D It doesn’t need to be expensive but wall art is a great gift that can be a permanent reminder of your wedding. I’m a huge fan of typography and your first initials plus an ampersand comes in at around £100, I guarantee they’ll be bought from your list first!

9

B&O Play Beolit 15 Bluetooth Speaker - £399.00

CHAMPAGNE 10. Champagne Taittinger Prelude Grand Cru, Champagne, France This is my default present to buy as a bloke. Taittinger is a personal favourite whether you crack it open when your gifts arrive or a few years down the line. Ali and I saved a few of ours to have at our son’s christening! 10

Champagne Taittinger Prelude Grand Cru Champagne - £45.00

BARBECUE 11. Big Green Egg Sod it. If you’re going to ask for a barbecue, get a proper one that will last a lifetime. The equivalent of a six-oven Aga, it can smoke, sear, bake, roast and act a pizza oven. Your mates may need to club together for this one but you’ll forever be King of Summer!
