Osimo is situated on a hill ( elevation 265 meters) and it has got a total area of 105,42 km2. A lot of villages (frazioni) surround Osimo; San Biagio is our village. This is the centre of Osimo as we see it from San Biagio.
On Monday the 11th of May we went for a walk around our school and we painted wonderful pictures of the landscape

Usually my grandparents water our Vegetable patch. When they're away, I water it! I smell the intense scent of The wet plants and...I'm happy. Eleonora

I pick it up for my mum, who uses it to cook the meat. My hands have got rosemary’s perfume for a long time. I like it. Samuele

Our hills are covered with grapes plants: they need little water. In the past grapes were sustained by elm-trees’ branches; the tree was able to hold the weight of the ripe fruits.
We have got six grapes plants: every year they give us a lot of grapes. We pick it up and eat it or we squeeze it to make wine. Federico
Our sea landscape
Adriatic sea
The region of the coastline in the Marche extends along the Adriatic sea from Pesaro to San Benedetto del Tronto. The coast offers different landscapes: wide sandy beaches and promontories on the sea.
The Conero promontory , a natural park, is the most spectacular feature of the entire adriatic shore, north of Gargano. Wild nature, white beaches, geystal clear water in the heart of “Conero riviera “. In Portonovo's bay you will find fascinating white beaches, cliffs and caves, like Grotta Urbani, San Michele and Mezzavalle. Around this area the sea is abounding in fish, like prawns, curled octopus, spiny lobsters, clams and scorpion fish.
