Karen Robison, Public Relations Director

Role at IA&B:

I oversee production of IA&B’s weekly Agent Headlines e-newsletter and monthly Primary Agent magazine. As part of the Marketing Communications Department, I also contribute to our digital media projects – including website, email marketing, and social networking.

Best part of your job:

My undergraduate degree is in English, so it’s no surprise that I enjoy the writing and editing that come with my job. As a bonus, I get to work on a team of great people to support an industry of great people!

What did you do before working at IA&B?

I worked at a statewide non-profit and then an advertising firm. Together, they provided a great background for association work.

What keeps you busy outside of work?

I live with my husband and our “zoo” – two kids, two cats, and, until very recently, two dogs. When I’m not playing zookeeper, I enjoy reading, hiking, and relaxing with friends.
