This designation is recognized as the insurance industry’s highest sign of distinction. The curriculum goes beyond personal and commercial lines coverage basics to build a keen awareness of special policies while exploring innovative ways to maximize clients’ coverage. Topics are identified by members through various means, including Member Agent Panel meetings, surveys, evaluations and member inquiries to IA&B. Recent conferences have focused on agency perpetuation and technology utilization to increase productivity. By attending EMC agency owners will gain insight on the full scope of the issue and learn how to break it down into manageable components to implement. In addition, talking and collaborating with experts helps owners re-prioritize key initiatives that help keep their agency viable. The 2011 EMC will take place on October 4-5 at the Lancaster Eden Resort in Lancaster, Pa.
