Assessment

The Primary Advantage Federation is seeking to recruit a Leader of Learning. The role would support the leadership of assessment across our teaching school alliance and beyond. Responsibilities would include the project management and development of our assessment tracker, the delivery of training and contributing to our CPD programmes. This is a high profile role working with teachers across our Federation as well as supporting other schools. The successful candidate will be an excellent leader and teacher with first class organisational skills. You will be a self-starter with drive, vision and creativity for the development of our existing CPD programmes. You will be committed to the development of teaching and learning, have strong mentoring and coaching skills and a passion for the curriculum. You will need to have a love of learning and a desire to make a real difference to our students and community. You will be joining a fast-paced, ambitious federation with an outstanding, open team. You can expect to work in a high energy atmosphere where you will receive support in developing your vision. The Leader of Learning: 1. Will provide training and support for primary schools across our Federation and beyond on identified priorities. 2. Will support in the collection, analysis of impact and evaluation of intervention programmes, linked to school improvement plans and work with leaders and teachers to provide training, in line with SEF and SDP priorities. 3. Will model best practice in the classroom, providing coaching, team teaching and modelling in classes as needed. 4. Will provide support for the Head of Teaching Schools in the day to day running of the school and can deputise in his/her absence. 5. Will be required to work across the federated schools and foster appropriate links between the schools. We wish to appoint someone that has: • Excellent teaching and interpersonal skills • The potential to develop others effectively and work as part of a team • Highly reflective practice • Creative and new ideas with an ability to translate them into inclusive practice • High quality organisational skills • Evidence of improving student outcomes About us We are a Federation of eight primary schools called Primary Advantage.
