Hbbhjbbh

The Christmas tree stands at the foot of the grand oak staircase in the stone-flagged entrance hall. The columns have a theatrical lapis lazuli finish whilst the walls are painted eau de Nil, replicating the original colour, discovered by taking paint scrapes.

The staircase predates the mideighteenth-century house and most likely came from a house nearby. The jute stair-runner was hand-stencilled
