Sustainability begins at home, and how you choose to furnish your space is an easy way to make life that little bit greener. Select homewares that are made from sustainable, recycled or recyclable materials. If you’re buying new wooden furniture make sure it’s FSCcertified, to ensure it comes from forests that are sustainably managed. Look for items that are sourced and made ethically and ensure those involved in producing them are paid and treated fairly – the Fairtrade logo makes them easy to spot.
