A dramatic entry can be achieved with a couple of key purchases and some fortuitous finds.

Create a warm welcome out of an awkward space with a fabulous anchor piece like this vintage French mirror. The recatangular concrete pot –an essential in 1970s home gardens – was salvaged from a friend’s backyard prior to a home knockdown. The console with marble top, purchased at your Display Gallery, was cleaned and refreshed with with Gumption and the base spray-painted a black gloss. The rug was found at Mitchell Road Antique & Design centre. The oversize wicker basket, French chair and watering can were all roadside finds. Buxus, jade plant and agaves – all from Bunnings. #
