They are unbleached yarns for garment dye that, combined together, create designed or striped fabric with different color intensity, tone on tone. The characteristic of having shades from dark to clear is given by the different absorption dyeing of individual types of yarn. 3d yarns can be dyed with all types of dye for cotton (reactive, direct, etc.) as in the normal dyeing processes.
COTTON 3D SERIES A special treatment permanently change the cotton which when dyed becomes highly colour toned than the normal yarn. The combination of yarns INTENSO and NORMAL worked alternately in the same garment and this allows you to create a mesh made of 100% cotton with clear drawings with tone on tone effect. INTENSO = dark colour 100% cotton NORMAL = standard colour 100% cotton 3D BLEND SERIES The special fiber ON-SHADE polyester fiber added in increasing percentages, reduces the tone of the color on cotton, creating shades that gradually become lighter until you get to pure white. PROMEDIO = medium colour 65% cotton - 35% ON-SHADE polyester CLARO = clear colour 35% cotton - 65% ON-SHADE polyester NEUTRAL = neutral colour 100% ON-SHADE polyester
What is it? Modal knits are a bio-based textile made from cellulose fiber by spinning reconstituted cellulose from beech trees. Modal is also a part of the rayon family (All fabrics manufactured with cellulose (from bamboo, plant or tree pulps) are collectively called rayon). Using cellulose from beech trees allows the fabric to be more eco-friendly. Beech trees are soil enhancers, breed naturally and do not need artificial irrigation. Modal is a biodegradable fabric. What is the fabric like? Like other types of rayon, Modal is soft, smooth and breathes well. It is cool to the touch and very absorbent. Its texture is similar to that of cotton or silk. Modal drapes well and keeps its shape, even when wet. Modal fabrics are resistant to shrinkage, wrinkles and fading. Modal is also less likely to form pills as a result of friction. Its smoothness also makes hard water deposits less likely to adhere to the surface, so the fabric stays soft through repeated washings. When blended with Lycra(1) Modal has good stretch and a soft recovery.
