Weekend Experience & Events tle of bear during happy hour, thinking, Oop! What just happened? There is a better option. Make you strict eating habit more flexible.
I
am sure this sound familiar; you pledge to honor a daily elliptical routine and count every last calorie. But soon, you're eating chips in the office, pork during with a cold bot-
Swap your all-or-nothing approach for one or two healthy switch-ups in your daily routine. Doing this can lead to more weight loss than you ever imagined. As my mother would put it “life is too short and simple, live it to the maximum.” Thus, you need to relax and make it fun to enjoy every bit your life.
Rich Love Life – Week 1
Y
ou love your spouse, but sometimes, are not excited about the flow of romance between the two of you. During this season of love, you would like to share these tips with the one you love the most in order to spice up your love life as well as to enjoy every moment of love spent together. Let’s begin with organization because to have spectacular experiences, you need order. If you live with someone who is less-thanorganized, here are a few tips to help you keep that loving’

feeling, and hopefully lose some of the mess: * Communication Let your partner or spouse know that you want to make a concerted effort to get the house more organized. Explain your reasoning, your vision, and the steps that will need to be taken to accomplish that goal. Don’t demand they join you, or blame them for the current state of the house, but rather help them to see it as a win-win for everyone. * Compromise Although you may have an idea of how the organizing efforts and systems should be put into action, your spouse may not agree with you. Be willing to compromise. There is no one-size-fitsall way to organize
ISSUE no 170
and you and your partner may approach organizing in totally different ways. * Create agreeable terms Make agreements about how “organizing disputes” will be handled. For example, if your partner is unwilling to part with a sports collection that is taking up valuable space in your closet, you might want to consider a set of terms about how to handle the clutter. Perhaps the two of you can agree to put the collection in a box, tape it up, and write a future date on it. If the future date comes and goes and the box hasn’t been opened for any reason, then it’s agreed that the boxed items are not needed and can be given away. To be continued… But remember, Love covers a multitude of sins, even the messy ones!

Healthy Food Best Option
I
f you stick to eating healthy foods during the week and junk food over the weekend with the mentality that you are undoing all the good work during the week, then you should reconsider.
Undulating between eating well during the week and consuming junk food over the weekend could have equal effects. The human gut consists of up to 100 trillion microbial cells that influence metabolism, nutrition and immune function. Disruption to the gut micro biota has been linked with gastrointestinal conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease and obesity. Intermittent exposure to junk food three days a week is sufficient to extensively shift the gut micro biota towards the pattern seen in obese rats consuming the diet continuously. A reduction in the diversity of the gut's micro biota and a loss of some of the beneficial biota is clearly not a good thing for health. It is said that, a cycled junk food diet will make an individual 18 percent heavier than those on the healthy diet. The micro biota of an individual with cycled junk food diet was almost indistinguishable from individuals who consume a constant diet of junk. Thus, with both groups', micro biota level is significantly different from those in the individuals fed a healthy diet so why not save yourself all this drama and stick to the healthy deit.

Installation of 10,000 Biogas Plants by 2017 in Tanzania
T
he Tanzania Domestic Biogas Project (TDBP) aims at benefiting rural communities in the country as such; biogas plants will be designed, built and installed in various parts of Tanzania. It was reported by the Netherlands Development Organization (SNV)’s Martijn Veen that, Tanzania and Norway have provided a total of US$140mn, while SNV supported the project with US$247mn. The project will be implemented through TDBP, while rural technology will be managed by Hivos, a Netherlands-based organization. There could have a radical improvement on the economic lives of rural inhabitants if the development of biogas technology was managed properly and effectively as said by Tanga regional commissioner Mwamtumu Mahiza. Rural communities in the area could buy the plant at US$110 through a facilitated discount as opposed to the market price, which is 20 per cent higher. In addition, the Dutch Development Cooperation and the Tanga Dairy Cooperative Union are also promoting a Biogas Credit Revolving Fund (BCRF) with US$108,826 capital. The fund will offer soft loans for dairy farmers in the region to acquire biogas plants.

German Health Support in Various Tanzania Regions Tanzania and Germany have signed a three year agreement that will see increased and improved access to quality and reliable health services to four regions. The Ministry of Health, Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children Permanent Secretary, Dr Mpoki Ulisubisya, listed the regions as Tanga, Mbeya, Lindi and Mtwara and that the German government has committed 10 million Euros for technical cooperation. He explained that he was glad for this commitment as all pregnant mothers seeking treatment will get the same services as a person with a health insurance car. Dr Ulisubisya said in a press briefing that, the rolling out of these quality services start immediately after the signing and that the program significantly targets women and children. The program, which is about to wind up the fourth phase of its implementation, has registered commendable achievements in the areas of social health protection particularly in Community Health Fund (CHF). Cues for Shoes
U
nlike clothes, shoes have a distinct advantage. Whether you're fat or thin, short or tall, beautiful or ugly, you can buy all the shoes your heart desires. They are capable of making you feel sexy, elegant or sporty at a single stroke. Shoes play an integral part of their personalities. There are some cues for wearing shoes. 1. Buying a pair of shoes half a size bigger, as comfort is integral to elegance. 2. As you get older, feet tend to get longer and wider. It's useless trying to squeeze into your usual size 6 1/2. Probably after the age of 40 you'll be a 7 1/2. 3. For the same reason, it's good to buy shoes in the evening, when feet are at their biggest, and never in the morning. 4. Try not to wear the same shoes too many days in a row. Ideally, you should change them every day to keep them from losing shape too soon. 5. Whenever you get the chance - at home or on the beach - walk around barefoot. 6. After an evening of walking on high heels, massage the soles of your feet with a tennis ball. 7. Look at the feet of your mother and grandmother. Many small deformations are hereditary but preventable. 8. Whatever kind of shoes you wear and whatever the shape of your feet, accept and love them, pampering them with great care and pedicures. Your feet are the pedestal that supports your soul.
How You Attract Client to Visit
I
n today's challenging economic climate, it is more important than ever to stimulate and promote consumer visits to your spa. This can be accomplished in a variety of ways including pricing inducements, creative packages and special treatment offerings, outreach to local and community groups, organizations and associations and events tied to charitable institutions to name just a few.
(b) Word of mouth referrals were cited by 74% of respondents as the primary method in selecting a new spa.
A recent spa consumer survey of 1,300 spa goers was developed and published by Coyle Hospitality Group and WTS International. It offers certain insights which are helpful in understanding how best to attract customers to a spa and to catalyze them to continue to do so. Some of the interesting points detailed in the survey are given below
(e) A spa with ongoing educational seminars regarding lifestyle, nutrition and wellness issues significantly increased the opportunity for guest loyalty.
(a) Respondents are drawn to spas that give back to the community.
(c) 84% of respondents said that it is important for therapists to explain products and benefits during the treatment. (d) Over 80% indicated that they were interested in buying a spa package in order to achieve benefits of skin care.
(f) In retail sales, 63% of respondents said they purchased products regularly at the spa with face cleansers/exfoliators and face/hand/body lotions comprising the majority of purchases. (g) Many respondents (about 80%) said they purchased gift certificates at the spa in the past
with an average of $150 spent. (h) Methods that would entice respondents to try a new spa include value added packages (64%), a free spa gift (65%), and discount cards (81%). (i) Respondents looked for spa deals and packages primarily through online (71%) and email (59%) and less so through newspapers, magazines and social media. (j) Pricing plays a larger role as a determinant in whether a consumer goes to a spa; 79% said price was the most pressing issue. (k) People who responded by saying that they would go to spas more frequently in 2010 had five primary motivators including (1) going to spas is an integral part of my lifestyle; (2) need for more "me time"; (3) relaxation; (4) distressing and (5) feeling better in general. The Plan – Train Smarter
A
s a runner, you need to train smarter. People who train tend to stay in their comfort zones and refuse to push further in their training plan. These are some ways to hit higher targets smartly.
Firstly, make your first step with the right leg. The right apparel for running will save you a load of aggravation later. You will feel more comfortable and reduce bodily aches. For instance, a good pair of running shoes can help ward off injuries like knee pain; free comfortable outfit promotes easy movement.
Beginner Runner
Y
ou don’t need to be a professionally trained athlete to go running; all you need is to lace up your sneakers and hit the rad.
Walking is effective but, it has been proven that running has a relatively higher effect when it comes to losing weight pounds.
Secondly, control you stiches. A stitch happens when an overworked diaphragm begins to spasm. To ease the pain, slow down and forcefully exhale each time your opposite foot strikes (so if the stitch is on your right side, breathe out when your left foot comes down). It also helps to massage the area with two fingers. Prior to this, don't eat too much before you head out; a full stomach can be a culprit. Thirdly, think like a tortoise and not a hare. The biggest mistake most new runners make is that they start our so fast that they easily get tired. It takes time for your body to get used to the demands of running so you have to condition your muscles, ligaments, tendons and bones, not just your heart and lungs. In addition, no matter how tempted you are to push yourself, don't because being slow and steady wins the calorie-burn race!
Apart from losing weight, running helps to reduce your risk for heart disease and diabetes, boost your mood, temper stress and build muscle, especially in the lower body and core. But it comes with hard work; about 20 to 30 minutes, three to four days a week will produce significant improvements.. If you are a beginner, it can be difficult. You can dress up a couple of times and stay home or keep postponing. To start, just go out and take one step at a time. Be very flexible, it involves a combination of run/walk intervals three days a week. Start with three minutes of running and one minute of walking for a total workout of 12 minutes. As you get fitter, increase the running by one or two minutes, and decrease the walking. By Week 8, you should be running without any walking. Figure out your ideal pace; which is a place where you can carry on a conversation, but still feel like you're doing a brisk walk. For the study, 40 young men underwent a month of hard exercise while cutting dietary energy they would normally require by 40 percent of what they would normally require. These guys were in rough shape, but that was part of the plan. The objective was to see how quickly the gentlemen could be put into shape. Resultantly, they lost some fat, but still retain their muscle and improve their strength and fitness. It was observed that exercise like weight lifting provides a signal for muscle to be retained even when you're in a big calorie deficit. However, the researchers cautioned that this regimen is not for everyone.
No Standard Routine.
R
esearchers have found new dietary solution for losing fat while gaining muscle, an often deliberated challenge for those trying to manage their weight, control calories and balance protein consumption.
12
ISSUE no 170
Also, the researchers divided their subjects into two groups. Both groups went on a low calorie diet, one with higher levels of protein than the other. The higher-protein group experienced muscle gains about 2.5 pounds despite consuming insufficient energy, while the lower protein group did not add muscle. The high-protein group also lost more body fat. The results showed that the high-protein group lost about 10.5 pounds and the low protein group only eight pounds. From the observed statistics, it was concluded that every individual has a unique body composition. As such you should know yourself and figure out what exercise routine fits you best. This will help you feel at ease and put in your best.
