Reasons Why You Have No Time to Relax and Have Fun

A

re you always busy? Do you think you have no time for your family, your friends and most especially yourself? Well, you have to review your schedule because there is definitely something wrong. Here are some of the reasons you should check in order to make some time for yourself.

ThInGs Successful People Do On Weekends uccessful people make time for what is important or fun. They make space for activities that add to their life balance. These are some of the things they do.

TIPS FOR EATING OUT

Forks & Spoons

I

don’t know about you but I get confused about the different types of forks and spoons. Well, forks and spoons can be differentiated on the basis of their primary purpose:

E

ating out can be a nice treat or a convenient option when you don't have time to cook a meal. But the fat, calories, sugar and sodium can add up quickly if you eat out regularly. Use these tips to make healthy choices the next time you eat out. √ Managing your portions

These forks and spoons employ thicker materials and a finish that conveys elegance and quality to the cutlery.

1. Keep it small.

Ask for half portions, share a large meal with a friend, or pack up part of your meal to take home.

2. Divide up dessert.

If you love rich desserts, order one and ask for spoons to split with your friends! √ Making healthier choices

3. Ask for more vegetables.

For more fiber, ask for extra veggie toppings on wraps, burgers, pizzas and sandwiches.

4. Go for whole grains.

Look for dishes made with whole grains such as quinoa, brown rice, barley or oats.

LOCAL RECIPE of The week - Ugali

U

gali is a meal I enjoy eating a lot. Most people do not know how it is done. As part of the recipe of the week, Ugali , this starchy, polenta-like side dish is the chosen one. Ugali is usually served as an accompaniment to meat or vegetable stews, greens or soured milk.

Forks and spoons for hotels, restaurants, catering and cafeterias Those for hotels, restaurants, catering and large franchises consist of forks and spoons designed for ceremonies, fine hotels and restaurants, hotel chains and catering businesses.

Forks and spoons for bars, pubs and clubs, Those for bars, pubs and clubs include forks and spoons specifically designed to satisfy the needs of bars, ice-cream parlors and clubs. Forks and spoons for the home and household use. Those for the home and household settings consist of forks and spoons designed for every kind of need.

NIKUZE FOOD PRODUCTS

I was taught that to eat ugali, pull off a small ball of mush with your fingers. Form an indentation with your thumb, and use it to scoop up accompanying stews and other dishes. Or you can form larger balls with your hands or an ice cream scoop, place them in individual serving bowls and spoon stew around them. Curious to taste the East African staple? Here’s how to cook ugali at home (serves 1):

We supply fresh vegetables, fruits & more food items to home / Office's door steps.

and pausing until a thick consistent mixture is formed. Let

the ugali rest on fire for about three minutes—or until the smell of baking ugali fills the air. Turn the ugali onto a serving plate. Serve the ugali while hot. Ugali is commonly eaten with stews of vegetables, fish, beef, or chicken.

Loanof 100 Million given to Tanzania to reach the 8 Million Visitors By 2025

With love in the air, everyone is looking forward to a beautiful gift from their loved one. But sometimes the people we love present us with clutter. Below is the continuation of last week’s edition on a few tips to help your spouse to join organizing efforts without too much hustle. 3)Identify the challenges so you can make it easy; Brainstorm together ho you can make the process easier. Ask your spouse what makes participating in the current system difficult in the first place. Find ways to be equal partners, instead. Make decision together and then label the spaces so that everyone feels empowered to put things away. 4)Make it fun to make it stick Instead of expecting one another to create and stick to new habits because they’re for the common good create incentives for sticking to the new game plan. 5)Accept different standards Sometimes the organizing issue between sweethearts has less to do with overcoming obstacles and identifying incentives and more to do with what’s behind that lack of communication. 6)Think out of the box and consider outside help: Have patience and recognize that not anyone starts from the same place and it’s unreasonable to exact that everyone has the same skills of pattern recognition or ability to conceptualize abstract solutions. Similarly there are areas where there are no right and wrong but merely where couples have differing organizing styles and retrieval preferences. Convey to your spouse the idea or organizing as combination of skill and training. Engaging the service of a professional organizer allows both you and your beloved to benefit from the technical expertise of a neutral judgmentfree third party. A professional Organizer can provide advice and solutions that neither of you have ever considered, allowing you to move forward as loving equal partners. The Tanzanian tourism sector has been recently awarded with a USD 100 million loan from the International Development Association (IDA) from the World Bank (WB) group, for the implementation of the Tanzania Resilient Natural Resources Management for Growth Project that aims at strengthening the country’s tourism products and value chain. The project is focused on four priority areas of the Ruaha National Park, Udzungwa Mountain National Park, Mikumi

National Park, Selous game reserve and includes communities around them than could benefit from tourism economic activities. The project is also part of WB’s plan to help Tanzania to reach the 8 million visitors a year by 2025 up from above 1 million in 2014 that is focused on diversification of geographic locations and tourism segments, integration of tourism activities at existing attractions and improvement in the quality of governance in the tourism sector. The project will also enable the government to work on the development of a new tourism circuit in the southern region and upgrade of the TundumaSumbawanga-Mpanda road to allow visitors to visit more than one site connection the country’s southern and western regions, explain Mr. Makani.

Upgrade! Personal Brand to Celebrity Status

When you know the steps and tricks of going about something, it makes it easier to accomplish it than it you have no guide. In that sense, here are a few lessons I learned on how to grow your personal brand, positioning yourself as an expert, and reaching celebrity status. 1.Focus first on building your business. As the saying goes, Rome was not built in a day. Thus, you can't build a nationally-known personal brand overnight. Personal branding narrows to building and maintaining a reputation, which takes time. 2.Be everywhere. You have to make yourself known everywhere and be visible. Have a blog, be on popular social media, be a guest contributor on small sites related to your industry and many more to break through the noise and get noticed.

4.Constantly update your brand. You should update your profiles, logs and websites regularly. 5. Partner with bigger personalities. Proximity to influencers implies to a bystander that the celebrity is aware of, and possibly endorses, your brand. 6.Scale up. You can’t do it all; write everywhere, do every interview, engage on social media and still run a successful business full time. Thus, hire someone to serve as your brand manager and entrust them with scouting opportunities, helping ghost write your articles and updating your website regularly. 7.Be patient. Patience they say is a virtue. You relax and take it one day at a time. You will get there.

3.Say yes to everything. Do not refuse any offer to create awareness. No matter how small it is. Smaller publicity is still publicity.

THE 2016 FASHION TREND The new trend is:

Nails

Long or Short

1. Tie-Dye The 70 is are here to stay. Tie-dye is making a comeback this New Year in the form of dresses, shirts, pants, and more. 2.Blue Accents Spruce up your look with stunning blues 3.Pleats Who says pleats have to be preppy? This trend will make an appearance in 2016 to add movement, style, and class.

Although trends tend to come and go, one thing is for sure: They define the season. It is officially the New Year, which means the new trends of 2016 are pushing 2015 styles out the window. Although we are used to welcoming new styles with open arms, these trends seem to get more outlandish year after year, making 2016’s trends bold, daring, and statement-worthy.

4.Half Moon Bag Move over full moon, the half-moon purse is here to stay! 5. Metallic Eyes A new type of highlighter is making an appearance: Shimmering shadows. 6.Lace Lace is soft, classic, and can turn any look into a chic ensemble.

I personally get confused as to whether to keep long nails or short nails. I am sure some of you go through the same ordeal. To help my confusion, I have a couple of pros from each side that make me decide what to do. They are:

•Short Nails – Pros 1. Less polish used, less re mover, etc. 2. I get "cleaning fever" when I have short nails. 3. Typing on the phone and computer is easier. 4. No visible nail line to contend with for sheer polishes. 5. Easier to get product out of little pots - like cuticle balm, wrinkle cream, etc.

•Long Nails – Pros Clean up. I have none with 1. longer nails but it's hard not

to get polish all over your fingers when they're short. Can get the backs on 2. earrings, work clasps on necklaces. Can open soda cans. 3 Much room for nail art 4 Easier to wash my curly hair 5 with long nails since I used them in place of a comb, which would just get stuck. For me, I consider the season, my mood along with my pros guide to grow my nails. You can try it too.

Health & Fitness Living

5 ALIVE These are five simple guidelines to make you feel happy. 1

2

Eat! If you exercise and consume fewer than 1,500 calories a day, it will be too hard to get all the nutrients you need. Plus, you'll be ravenous. Get the right mix of carbs, fats, and protein. The most effective combination for dropping pounds fast is one that is high in whole grains, vegetables, and fruits, contains mostly unsaturated fats from olive oil or nuts, and provides a healthy dose of extra-lean protein from dairy, legumes, soy, fish, and lean meat.

3 4 5

Push yourself. Dropping one to two pounds a week ensures that you lose fat, not muscle. Be realistic. Every plate you eat is piled high with vegetables and fruits and moderate amounts of whole grains, legumes, extralean meat or fish and nonfat milk or yogurt Exercise. A combination of cardio and strength training is best.

EXPERIENCE AT SANITAS HOSPITAL

SANITAS Hospital is a medical care and diagnostic unit with a comprehensive set of medical services. These services can be accessed all in one visit at very affordable rates. We have a comfortable environment, short waiting times, fully qualified and experienced medical staff and a full range of support services including Laboratory, Pharmacy, Radiology, Ultrasound, Theatre, Dialysis and Physio.

Three Day Tummy Trim If you have only 72 hours to fit into that slightly tight skirt, further slim your tummy with these strategies:

Our services are divided into different clinics and units, to reduce the waiting times and ensure that our staff that interacts with clients is highly qualified and knowledgeable. Furthermore, we have outpatient clinics for Children, Women, NHIF and general OPD.

1.Reduce the salt. Skip sodium-packed foods, such as processed foods, canned soups, packaged snacks, and fast foods.

SANITAS Hospital is always expanding. In just 4 years we have developed in three phases; from a day clinic to an out-patients only then into a fully-fledged hospital with a surgical theatre and an in-patient services coupled with accommodations.

2. Drink fluids. The more water you drink, the more easily your body excretes it. Spice up your beverage intake by drinking iced ginger-lemon tea.

We seek to renovate our current in-patient accommodations into top class private wards with full-time services. Additionally, we seek to expand our maternity unit and put up 3 more highly specialized surgical theatres.

3.Cut back on carbs. Skip the extra slice of bread and have an open-faced sandwich, or select the smoothie instead of the waffle for breakfast. Choose protein-rich snacks such as low-fat cheese or nuts.

As the need and expectation for our services increase in Tanzania, we will also expand to meet that need, open more branches as well as extend our coverage in order to keep Tanzanian’s healthy.

4.Deflate. Go light on gas-forming bran, legumes, cabbage, bell peppers, dried fruits, and onions.

Tarangire National Park

T

arangire National Park is one of Africa's most underrated parks. Being close to Serengeti and Ngorongoro, Tarangire National Park is usually assigned only a day visit as part of a larger northern circuit safari. It's a place where elephants dot the plains like cattle, and where lion roars and zebra barks fill the night, all set against a backdrop of constantly changing scenery. Tarangire has the second-highest concentration of wildlife of any Tanzanian national park (after Serengeti) and reportedly the largest concentration of elephants in the world. The Tarangire ecosystem, with the park as its heart and soul, also has more than 700 resident lions and sightings are common. With a range of environments and good game, Tarangire's birdlife is also varied – and over 500 species have been recorded here, including ashy starlings and large flocks of beautiful yellow-collared lovebirds, both of which are endemic to Tanzania. Tarangire's vegetation comprises of mostly dry, open woodlands, which include thorny acacia thickets and lots of its signature baobab trees.

Safari Etiquettes

A

safari in the African bush is a completely new and exciting experience.

If you someone who has just began going on a safari like myself, welcome to the magical world of the African bush! It is an enticing, relaxing, exhilarating and sometimes overwhelming experience. All your senses will be awakened by the sights, sounds and experiences you will have when going on a safari getaway. Here are some things you should have at the back of your mind always. * Safety comes first * Keep your distance * Be aware of the people around you * Leave no trace * Always listen to your guide

Things Not To Pack for a Safari

In the 172nd weekly issue, we featured an article on “Things to pack.” As a woman, I find it challenging to pack light. When I am travelling I pack every possible thing with the popular excuse statement “just in case…” Thus, I help myself by finding out what to pack and what not to pack. This in this edition let’s look at what not to pack. • Jewelry • Safari clothing Instead of stressing yourself out to shop for your safari trip, just get it out there (in the country you are going to). • Jeans These are heavy to pack, too warm to wear during the day and hard to dry when they get wet. • Smart evening clothes You're likely to fall in from your day out on the plains and go straight for dinner. A safari is the ultimate dress-down holiday, when no one really thinks about their appearance. • Most of your clothes • A hard suitcase • Perfume or aftershave
