B
ritish bartender Dick Bradsell invented this now-classic drink, a.k.a. the Vodka Espresso, at Fred’s Club in London in the late ’80s. Legend has it that Kate Moss asked for a drink that would “wake me up and then put me down” at the same time.

ours well and looks PERONI great in a NASTRO glass. The AZZURRO smell is a very basic malt and hops with more emphasis on the former rather than the latter. Drinking this beer is enjoyable. Light, crisp, refreshing example of a macro lager. It is best served on tap from a tall, icecold Peroni glass. Nice creamy white head with fair retention.

EATING OUT
I
f you're eating out at a restaurant or cafe, you can make choices to ensure that your meal is healthy and balanced.
It's all too easy to have more saturated fat, salt and sugar than you realise when you're not cooking your own meal. You can also end up eating more than you would have done if you'd served up your own portions. We often indulge in sugary and high-fat foods when it's a special occasion. But many of us are eating out more often, and this means that it's important to think about healthier choices. The first tip to remember is that whatever and wherever you're

eating, you don't need to clear your plate. Instead, eat slowly and stop when you're full.
Few tips :
Food swaps are very helpful. Go for the skinless chicken instead of bacon or ham, or tomato and veg sauces instead of the creamy or cheese based once. Be menu-savvy. With the restaurants now adding the calories on their food items, help yourself decide which dish to have and keep track of the number of calories you're eating. Choose healthier puddings as a dessert option: Lunch salads can make for a healthy, filling and tasty meal. It is also affordable and quick.

SALI INTERNATIONAL HOSPITAL What is breast cancer?
Types of Breast Cancer
Breast cancer starts when cells in the breast begin to grow out of control. These cell s usually form a tumor that can often be seen on an x-ray or felt as a lump. The tumor is malignant (cancerous) if the cells can grow into (invade) surrounding tissues or spread (metastasize) to distant areas of the body. Breast cancer occurs almost entirely in women, but men can get it, too. It’s also important to understand that most breast lumps are not cancer, they are benign. Benign breast tumors are abnormal growths, but they do not spread outside of the breast and they are not life threatening. But some benign breast lumps can increase a woman's risk of getting breast cancer. Any breast lump or change needs to be checked by a health care provider to determine whether it is benign or cancer, and whether it might impact your future cancer risk.
What are the risk factors for breast cancer? Most women who have one or more breast cancer risk factors never develop breast cancer, while many women with breast cancer have no known risk factors (other than being a woman and growing older). Even when a woman with risk factors develops breast cancer, it’s hard to know just how much these factors might have contributed Breast cancer risk factors you cannot change Being a woman, Getting older, Certain inherited genes, Having a family history of breast cancer, Having a personal history of breast cancer, Your race and ethnicity, Having dense breast tissue, Certain benign breast conditions, Starting menstruation (periods) before age 12, Going through menopause after age 55, Having radiation to your chest. Lifestyle-related breast cancer risk factors Excessive alcohol consumption, Being overweight or obese, Women who have not had children or who had their first child after age 30 have a slightly higher breast cancer risk overall, Birth control (Oral contraceptives, Depo-Provera), Hormone therapy after menopause, Disproven or controversial breast cancer risk factors Antiperspirants, Based on the available evidence (including what we know about how the body works), there is little if any reason to believe that antiperspirants increase the risk of breast cancer, Bras, Induced abortion, Breast implants etc.
Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among women, with approximately 182,000 women diagnosed with breast cancer annually in the United States, accounting for approximately 26% of all incident cancers among women. Each year, 40,000 women die of breast cancer, making it the second-leading cause of cancer deaths among American women after lung cancer. In Dar es Salaam, breast cancer corresponds to 12.7% of all cancers which is much less than 46.9% for cervical cancer. However the proportion of breast cancer cases might be much higher if all the cases are detected.
Factors which may reduce the risk of breast cancer risk Having many children; having many pregnancies and becoming pregnant at an early age reduce breast cancer risk overall, Breastfeeding and Physical activity: Evidence is growing that physical activity in the form of exercise reduces breast cancer risk. In developing countries Tanzania is inclusive, patient always present at an advance stages of the disease making it difficult to achieved cure. Early detection is important which always begin with monthly Breast self examination, Mammography after every two years for women above 50years of age, Review by Gynecologist for any suspicious lump in the breast. At Sali international Hospital we have a modern mammography machine with appropriate personal to do the examination. Prepared by - Vindhya Pathirana Obs/Gynaecologist at Sali International Hospital

VACANCY FOR A CASHIER

Recentaly, while in London, I decided to walk down the escalator of a tube station. I did some quick calculation in my mind. I found that if I walk down twenty-six steps, I require thirty seconds to reach the bottom, However, if I am able to step down thirtyfour strairs I would only require eighteen seconds to get to the bottom. If the time is measured from the moment the top step begins to descend to the time I step off the last step at the bottom, can you tell the height of the stairway in step
