Tanzanian Tonic Recipe
Perfect Stop This is a recipe of an amazing cocktail tonic with an alcohol level of 6 percent. It is very easy and simple to prepare to spice up your weekend. The ingredients are, 1 cup pineapple juice, 1 cup apricot nectar , 1 cup peach nectar 2 oz lemon juice, 2 oz orange juice , 1 oz grenadine syrup 6 oz light rum , 1 dash dark rum
Now, combine ingredients in a blender until its smooth. Pour over ice in 4oz glasses, and add a dash of dark rum to each. Garnish with halves orange slices and stemmed maraschino cherries and you are good to go.

Restaurant Etiquettes This article, you will learn a few helpful hints to keep you on track to being courteous and kind in a restaurant. ●Understand that courtesy is making sure everyone around you feels comfortable. Smile and try to be nice. ●Mind your manners. Use your “Pleases” and “Thank-yous”. These will be appreciated by the staff at the restaurants and may get you better service. ●When you get to the restaurant, take your seat and wait for the staff to take your order. ●Read through the menu and figure out what you want to eat before the waiter shows up. This will help save time for them, which they will appreciate. ●When the food arrives, keep your mouth closed when you chew, don't put your elbows on the table, and don't slurp! Also, try not to burp loudly, 'cause in most places this is considered very rude. ●When settling the bill, do so in a timely manner, and do not forget to tip. Most service folks rely primarily on tips, so be sure to be fair. When it comes to the bill though, do not squabble loudly over it, or disagree with the waiter in an overly vocal manner. If there is an issue, just ask to talk to the manager.

Tanzania hosts regional agribusiness talks Over 600 regional and international industry leaders are in Dar es Salaam for the Agribusiness Congress East Africa to share best practices and discuss strategic plans relating to regional growth and market accessibility in the agricultural corridors. “A unique feature of Agribusiness Congress East 2016 conference is the roundtable discussions between the representatives of the public and private sector, presenting each industry with its own challenges and requirements in an interactive Business to Business (B2B) intimate dialogue,” Melisa Bender, the Agribusiness East Africa Marketing Manager said last week. The Congress scheduled for 27th to 28th January offers a platform for investors, the donor community, input suppliers, government, farmers of all scales and all professionals involved in the agricultural value chain, looking for sus-
tainable cost effective solutions, trade partners and opportunities that will set East Africa into an agricultural hub. “This congress aimed to aims to equip decision makers to make positive changes to the agriculture sector policies for the benefit of its farmers to achieve the exponential growth that the sector deserves,” he said. Both an indoor and outdoor exhibitions are featured where visitors will meet industry experts to discuss specific business needs and view the latest products and services available to the global agri-market. During the Congress, the German export Association for Food and Agriproducts (GEFA) will once again return as a coordinating partner and bring onboard the representation of Grimme, Mastermind, Pottinger and Vedastat as featured exhibitors.
Partners to Provide Loans to Farmers Three firms have signed an agreement to deliver innovative finance solutions to emerging commercial farmers. The firms - John Deere Financial in collaboration with National Microfinance Bank, and John Deere dealer, LonAgro - also would work on improving accessing credit and address the cost of credit. Under the deal, the financiers would provide finance solutions for famers that facilitate access to mechanization adoption gearing to improve cultivation practice, higher yield and increase incomes. Through the agreement John Deere will support emerging commercial farmers and emerging contractors by offering operator training, business training -- include cash flow management -- and agronomic skills to equipment purchasers

The two -- NMB and John Deere - have come up with a contractor model that offers an innovative solutions to the problem. And that, these mechanized solutions are the only way to meet the world demand for food. Standard Chartered CEO for Africa, Middle East Visits Tanzania
Standard Chartered Bank's Africa and the Middle East Regional Chief Executive Officer, Mr Sunil Kaushal is expected to visit the Bank's offices in Tanzania. According to a statement issued by Standard Chartered Bank Tanzania Limited, during his visit Mr Kaushal will meet with various internal and external stakeholders of the Bank in Tanzania with a view of exploring ways in which the bank can further enhance its business and support economic growth in Tanzania. Mr Kaushal has been with Standard Chartered Bank for 18 years and has recently taken over the responsibility as Regional Chief Executive, Africa & Middle East from 1st October 2015. He led the team to successfully integrate three acquisitions, building a strong platform for growth which was recognised via several first-time business and corporate social responsibility awards. WHY JANUARY IS ONE OF TH BEST TIMES TO VISIT THE SERENGETI
The Serengeti Plains and National Park in Tanzania, provides for an unforgettable and remarkable African wildlife experience and can be enjoyed throughout the year. The rainy seasons (March to May and October to November) may affect road conditions, but this does not usually provide a serious problem. The wildebeest migration normally takes place between April and June, while the wildebeest are usually concentrated in the southern Serengeti during the calving season from December to May. From December to February the park is at its busiest, and to a lesser extent during July to August. The Serengeti Plains and National Park is however massive and it will not get anything like the congestion experienced in the Ngorongoro during the same periods. Short rains fall November to mid-December in Tanzania and the long rains are from March to the end of May. By September and October, the bulk of the migration is concentrated in the Masai Mara National Park in Kenya, but even during this period there's plenty of wildlife to see, including thriving lion prides and large clans of hyena.
