More reach for Vermeer Australia customers

More reach and more product for Vermeer Australia customers

It’s been a busy 12-18 months for the Vermeer Australia, and there are more exciting things on the horizon for customers as the brand looks to the future.

At the end of 2019, Vermeer Australia became part of the RDO Australia Group, along with John Deere construction and forestry dealer RDO Equipment, and renowned agricultural dealership Vanderfield. This has resulted in an expansion into new markets for Vermeer Australia, and a larger footprint, backed by the support of the largest machinery dealer network across Australia.

Vermeer Australia General Manager of Sales Jeff Lawson says this has been welcome news for customers.

“Our customers have support over more locations and more equipment options to expand their fleet. We now can provide a wide range of machines for all types of work, from small jobs through to large pipeline projects, and support sectors from construction to agriculture, mining, civil, roads, hire and utility works to just name a few,” he says.

“Our ranges of machinery complement each other nicely and are backed by our expert team of sales and support technicians.”

Vermeer machinery is now available across seven dealerships in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania. The partnership with Vanderfield allows Vermeer Australia to provide machinery and backup support in regional locations across NSW and Queensland as well.

“We know a lot of our customers are in more than one region and have jobs going across multiple sites. We’re now better able to service these customers with boots on the ground across both metro and regional locations,” says Mr Lawson.

“The newly-launched John Deere construction equipment line through RDO Equipment is a great option for our Vermeer customers looking for a larger piece of machinery to add to their fleet.

“Alongside our own well-known pipeline equipment range including track trenchers, directional drills, vacuum excavators and surface miners, customers can also access John Deere excavators, dozers, wheel loaders, graders, articulated dump trucks and backhoes, available in the Group’s larger construction equipment fleet.

“Both the Vermeer Australia and RDO Equipment teams are looking forward to working together across our customer base and providing them with machinery solutions that are tailored to their project needs. Plus, our customers will be backed by the service and support of the entire RDO Australia Group network.”
