See What’s New in Hereford this Spring!

We know this much is new for sure…we have a NEW DATE & NEW TIME for 2023. Hopefully you have seen our schedule changes for this year and hopefully it will work well for you to join us. We changed our date to make it a little easier on the cattle and our labor, and we hope it will fit your schedule and pastures better as well. Don’t be afraid to tell us what you think; we love your feedback on all things.

New donors, new sires, new combinations, new successes: we have so much to show and tell you this year. You can read about them in this catalog and watch the videos online but trust us when we tell you that they are way better in person. These cattle will make you stop and stare awhile. They’re very good and they’re different than so many you will find, if you’re a breeder they will inspire some thoughts. We did our best to capture them in short in this booklet, but you really need to plan a trip to review them. If you don’t find at least a half dozen that make your heart race a little then we’ll feed you a tasty fajita and you can be on your way, but we are confident you’ll want to stay awhile.

Thank you so much for pausing to review our 19th Share the Future Sale. The event is loaded with quality and opportunity and it has proven itself to deliver MAJOR SUCCESS and minor victories to so many of our customers, arguably better than any other auction like it. We dare you to compare quality, value, enjoyment, and results; the 4-part recipe that it takes to earn repeat business. We love that some of our buyers this May 20 will be the same as they were 19 years ago. It tells us everything we need to know.

Enjoy the spring. Love the business.

Lot 4 Sharp 8401

Female Calved: 2018

Sire: Here I Am

Dam: TJ x Mimms 401

DUE TO CALVE

Tested TH-Free

6/27 TO IN GOD WE TRUST

An earth shaker with awesome feet, bone, and mobility plus a Donors Unlimited pedigree to rely on! This is a young cow with quality, a strong production record, and a hot calf on the way soon. She is big haired and extra massive plus she milks well and is leaving behind a sweet daughter to replace her. Her dam is a beautiful cow and a maternal sister to a Ft. Worth Reserve Grand Steer as well as an Ak-Sar-Ben Grand Steer from the world-famous Mimms Donor 401 who also raised the high-powered dam of Lot 5.

Lot 6 Sharp 8367

Female Calved: 2018

Sire: Monopoly

Dam: Who Made Who x Black Bear

DUE TO CALVE 6/26 TO IN GOD WE TRUST

Tested TH-Free

Red power and plenty of it, this is a TH-Free Monopoly moose with great feet and plenty of meat. She is extra wide and deep with a pretty udder and a gentle disposition. She raised a $9,000 steer by Chosen 1 a year ago and four of her brothers averaged $7,750 in 2016 and 2017; we just can’t keep them all. She has the ability to lead and is plenty young enough to do it. Treat yourself to some great producers in this best-ever bred cow offering!

SHARP CATTLE

LOT 5 SHARP 0/4401

Female Calved: Fall 2020

Sire: Here I Am

Dam: Sharp/Mimms 4401 (Heat Wave x Mimms 401)

DUE TO CALVE 6/16 ANDRAS FUSION (RED ANGUS)

Tested TH-Carrier

Like certain parades in Austin, this thing is a real freak show that commands your attention! Check the out-there tools in her kit and remember that her wonderful donor dam was the high-selling Lot 1 of our 2018 Share the Future Sale and that her second dam was the foundation Mimms Donor 401 who raised Keylan William’s Ft. Worth Reserve Grand Steer among many, many more including the remarkable dam of Lot 5. You can change her in a spot if you must but dang if she didn’t make you stare awhile!
