welcome

the musical for all time

It is hard to believe that pantomime is just around the corner and we look forward to welcoming many of you to the Princess over the festive season. After some great feedback, we will be repeating our treasure trail this year. All the details will be in the pantomime programme and the prize for finding the clues and solving the mystery can be collected from the merchandise kiosk. Happy hunting! 2014 is shaping up to be a really busy year once again and we are really excited about so many of the productions. We strive throughout the year to provide shows to suit all tastes and I think we are certainly on our way to achieving this. Please do take some time to look through the Theatre Card information as it really can offer fantastic savings on many shows, particularly the weekly productions. I genuinely appreciate the loyalty and support that we receive at the Princess, from both customers and staff. Brenda Walliss, our Front of House Manager has recently won the TMA’s Employee of the Year after 51 years of service at the Princess Theatre. We are all very proud of Brenda and are thrilled that she has received such fantastic recognition. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to you as well. As the customer, it is you who brings this Theatre to life. Your passion for Theatre, your continued interest and excitement about our forthcoming productions and your faith and trust in us to deliver quality productions is valued by all of us and makes everything we do worthwhile. Very best wishes,

Written by Willy Russell, the legendary Blood Brothers tells the captivating and moving tale of twins who, separated at birth, grow up on opposite sides of the tracks, only to meet again with fateful consequences. The superb score includes Bright New Day, Marilyn Monroe and the emotionally charged hit Tell Me It’s Not True. Few musicals have received quite such acclaim as the multi-award winning Blood Brothers and Bill Kenwright’s production, having recently celebrated its 23rd phenomenal year in London, continues to enjoy standing ovations at every devastating performance. No wonder Blood Brothers is now ‘The musical for all time’.
