We will also be including the ever-popular Friday water day once again. Our experienced and compassionate staff will guide your child throughout the camp day, creating a safe and unforgettably fun experience.
3D Printing: Grades 2-5
Kids will learn to combine shapes in the computer to design their own toys! Once developed, we’ll print them with a 3D printer capable of converting a digital file into a tangible object, then they can take it home and have lots of fun playing with it.
Summer College Essay Seminar: Grade 12
We are very pleased to announce that Karen Latham, Jamie McCulloch, and Tom Quigley are once again combining their talents and teaching experience to teach Summer College Essay Seminar at PDS. These three teachers have more than twenty years experience teaching the college essay and have been part of the English department at Princeton Day School for a combined thirty-four years. The college essay seminar will guide students through the process of choosing a topic, drafting, revising, editing and polishing at least two personal narratives. By reviewing and analyzing a range of past college application essays and essay questions, by cultivating elements of voice and style, and by discovering what is likely to work and what isn’t, students will be prepared to approach other essays and supplemental applications with knowledge and confidence.
