Before setting up an IMAP account in eM Client, you have to enable IMAP on your email account. If you are using Gmail as your email service, then you can make use of the steps given below to enable IMAP.
Step : 1 Log in to your email account using the email address and the password. Step : 2 Click the Settings icon on the home page of your email and then select the Settings option from the list of options. Step : 3 On the settings page, select the 'Forwarding and POP/IMAP' tab. Step : 4 Under this tab, scroll down to the IMAP Access: section. Step : 5 Now, select the Enable IMAP radio button.
