What is a hearing aid? Why do we need a hearing aid? Who is it for? Where and how is it used?

We need to have an answer to these questions to understand the product, user, environment

CHAPTER 2 : EMOTIONAL


RESEARCH TOPICS

USER 1.Who is our primary user? 2.Interview kids, teenage, Adults, middle aged, old people.(different persona's) 3.Understand how they feel emotionally about this issue. 4.Study their lifestyle/what they do on daily basis. How does the society impact their lifestyle. 5.Understand how they use the product from waking up in the morning - wearing it, traveling, to what they do before they go to sleep. Analyzing the problems they face. 6.Understand our secondary user, basically people around them, how do they deal with partially hearing impaired people.How do they feel about their issue, do they feel sympathetic, empathetic This will help us solve the way our society impacts on people suffering from this issue.It will help us solve the bigger picture!!!


CONCLUSION

After doing a thorough research on the product, market, technology ,user We will derive a lot of insights under each topic which will help us design a holistic product ,from the people , market and product point of view.It will not only help in creating a good design but also a service around the product, marketing strategy,

recreating retail and buying experience, packaging etc..

Make a requirement sheet based on the insights.It should constitute must have, nice to have, and cant have.Kick start the ideation

Creating detailed sketches for three concepts, with exact dimensions, technology, cmf, manufacturing process.

3D models, keyshot renders, 2d technical drawings, exploded views,detailed views. user scenarios for all three conceptsshow how the product will be used. packaging, marketing strategy for all three retail experience, buying experience, product servicing experience.

3.A4- REFINEMENT SKETCHES Selecting potential ideas from the post-its and detailing them out on A4.Making them more realistic

6.PROTOTYPES Rough prototypes, to test the form, ergonomic, dimensions. User testing for feedback and incorporating the changes. .Final three functional prototypes.


DEVELOPMENT PHASE 3

2.DEVELOPING FINAL IDEA

Test the final 3 prototypes, with users, doctors, technicians.Get their feedback

Based on the feedback, start detailing out 1 concept.Make final detailed sketches , quick 3d models and renders and protos

Perspective, ortho, exploded views, animations to support the concept, technical drawings, showing inner components.

Product packaging, brochures, leaflets, adverts, hoardings, marketing planning etc..

3.FINAL 3D MODEL Detailed 3d model with joineries, and proper assembly

6.PROTOTYPE Final functional prototype. Test it with the user and show how its used by allowing them to use the product and get their feedback on same.
