ACTIVITIES & ACHIEVEMENTS I have learnt Bharatnatyam for 8 yrs and performed my Arangetram in the year 2006. I have also learnt other dance forms such as folk, jazz, ballet, salsa and ball room. Other than design, I also have a keen interest in sports and have won a few inter-club badminton trophies. I have actively participated in school and college festivals, have been a part of the Hospitality team and currently am a part of the Marketing team of my college fest. INSPIRATION
IDEATION
The dragon is a mythological charector that is known for its attribute of blowing hot air. The function of the hair dryer matches perfectly to this that of the dragon’s. 3
PROTOTYPE
This is a working prototye of the drayer. It is made out of Mseal and spray painted. The handle of the drayer is textured for better grip, and it also resembles the scales on the body of a dragon

CONCEPT SKETCHES
I tried to give a smooth flow form creating the feel of moulding foam in your hand.

PROTOTYPE
The prototype is made from MDF wood using a CNC machine. Then painted with glossy white paint. It is made to 1:1 scale.

BRIEF To create a hollow object that can be injection moulded. To design in a manner considering the constrains of manufacturing. To add functional and aestheric value.
INSPIRATION
I have taken inspiration from the anatomy of an eye to design a lens case.

IDEATION
It is a simple ovoid form openable from either side into left and right compartments. It contains a live hinge and lip and groove snap fii for each of the compartments.

MODEL
There is a mettalic ‘R’ on the right lens compartment as an indication for the right eye lens. There is one slot on the left lens compartment too for pasting a note regarding the disposal of the lens. These slots are flat for better stability.

Fully openable three side chain. Sleeve covers the laptop even while its open.

A compartment stitched at the bottom along the length with zips on either side. It holds the charger allowing the plugs to be used without any exta wires being seen on the outside.
