BRIEF To create a hollow object that can be injection moulded. To design in a manner considering the constrains of manufacturing. To add functional and aestheric value.

INSPIRATION

I have taken inspiration from the anatomy of an eye to design a lens case.

9

IDEATION

It is a simple ovoid form openable from either side into left and right compartments. It contains a live hinge and lip and groove snap fii for each of the compartments.

10

MODEL

There is a mettalic ‘R’ on the right lens compartment as an indication for the right eye lens. There is one slot on the left lens compartment too for pasting a note regarding the disposal of the lens. These slots are flat for better stability.
