About Me

I am a highly motivated and passionate Civil Engineer expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Project Management. I firmly believe in achieving outstanding performance by applying innovative and creative methods to ensure project success. I am actively seeking an opportunity to work as a BIM/VDC coordinator.

My two-year of experience as a BIM intern for both commercial and residential has been instrumental in my professional growth and knowledge acquisition. It has provided me with valuable insights and learning experiences that have greatly enriched my skill set.

Commercial Project

• This was a multi-story hotel project.

• I took a leading role in this project by using AutoCAD drawings to build detailed 3D models for each floor.

• My tasks involved organizing team meetings, merging CAD files, setting up grids and levels, and creating 3D architectural representations.

• I specifically concentrated on modeling curtain walls, canopy roofs, swimming pool features, wall sweeps, and generating interior 3D views to improve the project's visual precision and presentation.

MEP Project

• This is an Elementary school project where I utilized the Revit architectural link feature to create an HVAC duct layout, air terminals, plumbing design, and foundational electrical work for a building section within the project.

• This experience provided me with insights into the intricacies of connecting mechanical equipment in limited spaces, considering variations in height and levels, and gaining a fundamental understanding of ductwork and its connections.

Structural Project

• It was an individual project focused on modeling a multi-story hotel's structural layout in Revit.

• Initially, I modeled the concrete foundation elements. Then, I progressed to working on steel framing connections for the upper levels.

• The design included incorporating a truss roof at the top level, which I added to the steel frame.

• Throughout this project, I utilized structural families and integrated steel connections.

• Additionally, I developed project details by incorporating rebar and connections into structural elements like floor slabs, walls, and columns.

Navisworks Project

• I used Revit and Navisworks Manage for Uniformat & and Master Format-based quantity takeoffs.

• Using the Quantification feature in Navisworks, the number of various elements were taken out and exported to Excel files and created a separate file for estimation likewise used Revit schedules for quantification.

• I have gained knowledge of clash detection and visual checks regarding doing quality checks of different discipline models. We were given two models (Architectural + Structural & MEP).

• Thus, I disintegrated the architectural and structural model using search and selection sets to perform clash tests between each discipline; after the tests, I also allotted clashes to the appropriate discipline by creating comments and exporting clash reports as viewpoints.

• Then performed visual checks of the models and marked them for further review.
