 The Chemistry building was designed by Rogers Centre architects, Rod Robbie and Michael Allen.  It was built with a special safety feature that includes a “pop‐ up” roof that would release an increase in pressure if an explosion ever were to occur. This feature would safe‐guard all of the buildings in the vicinity

FINE ARTS

 Consists of three buildings: The Goldfarb Centre, Centre for Film and Theatre, and the Accolade Project (East & West)  Seven Disciplines: dance, digital media, music, theatre, design, film, and visual arts  ACE hosts student productions FUN FACT: Rachel McAdams graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts

FUN FACT: The “Air Dog” wall sculpture in ACE, displays balls collected by the artist’s dog Angus while walking on the Toronto Islands

 One stop destination for students  York International and Aboriginal office on 2nd floor  Talk about Health Centre, Pharmacy, Dental Office and Eye doctors  York Lanes has a post office, dry cleaners, photo shop and travel agency (Travel Cuts)  Talk about the bookstore and York shop

 Houses The Underground: York’s main pub on campus.  3rd and 4th floors house club offices (Excalibur, YFS, Volunteer Centre)  York has approximately 300 clubs
