Created framing models for custom homes using Revit to optimize the architectural aesthetics with Blue Sky Building System parameters. Developed new architectural features in the Building System as part of product research and development.

the aim of the studio was to design for a city that must explore its edge conditions inturn introducing refreshing and unique ways of life that are going to be inevitable in times to come. there are 3 main ideas incorporated in the concept 1) to retro-fit the existing industries along the San Gabriel river with housing, commercial, transport & recreation so as to enhance it as a vital space. 2) encourage water transport as a mode of transport and recreation 3) to leave the city open-ended to grow towards newer ways of living in water

The city streches 4 miles along the river and1/2 a mile across on either sides. The fabric of the city is made of high-rise high-denisty mixed use buildings along the river with low-rise high-density residential buildings on it.

The major focus of study and site were the Octroi check-posts in Mumbai, eventually zooming into the Dahisar check-post.The essence of the design was to acknowledge the ‘subcultures’ that have emerged and evolved into an integrated system while focusing on, -cohesive functioning of a check-post with its administrative system alongwith providing required amenities for the truck drivers and actors. -to Re-Imagine the architecture for Octroi checkposts so as to emphasize its role as an economic icon& establish through its architecture an entry point into the city-insert a public leg in the form of a ‘public plaza’ into the system. The entire structure is imagined to be lifted at a height of approximately 18 feet above ground level so that only the columns supporting the structure leave a footprint on the site allowing ample space for circulation and parking of trucks and containers. The columns are provided with lifts and staircases allowing vertical circulation.
