THESIS

HEALTH: A dynamic state of physical, mental and spiritual well being.

The aim of this thesis was to provide an institution which caters to all the physical mental and spiritual needs of the patient with proper guidance. Not a home away from home but ‘Vacay away from home’, which gives them a higher purpose of life, a new way to live. The design

i) Provides them freedom to choose their personal space and gradually increase at their own pace.

ii) Also encourages them to involve with the nature and others, which is very effective way to overcome addiction.

URBAN DESIGN

The site is located in Greater Noida, U.P. The exercise was done for the understanding and articulation of how the elements of the public realm will work together. Main objective was to provide context sensitive design solutions for the commercial belt, city park and surrounding.

SHOPPING MALL

The project site is located in Noida with institutions and residences around it. The aim was to provide the area a place which can be used to do multiple activities that a typical mall provides. In this project emphasis has been given on the movement of the visitors and creation of interest for the visitors through planning.

PRIMARY SCHOOL

The project site is located in Greater Noida. The objective was to provide a sensible, safe and engaging space for the primary level students. The design is focused on the different activities that they do and the memories that they build in that space. Courtyard planning is done to provide the necesary exposure to lighting, nature and small activities that can be done. Small details have being focused on to make spaces interesting and worthwhile.
