Welcome to this special edition of the Benchmark Innovation Awards, 2022.

This year marks the fifth consecutive year for the Benchmark Innovation Awards. The awards, voted by our readers, acknowledge companies and products that have provided innovative solutions to today's complex and changing security needs.

The security market is constantly evolving. The use of AI, higher resolution cameras, and the broader availability of cloud offerings and mobile capabilities provide more flexibility and a deeper understanding of data and incident patterns than ever before.

New services are being offered, equipment is becoming smarter, and new hybrid solutions are bridging the gap between traditional and new technologies. Security companies must adapt to these changes to thrive, which is where innovation is born.

The Innovation Awards aim to identify pioneering security and surveillance products and solutions that have broken through known limitations, whether by developing new approaches or products and, in some cases, by redefining the problem altogether to come up with new possible alternatives.

We had eight categories, including Innovation Company of the year. The awards are well-deserved recognition for innovative teams, companies and projects. They're also great for setting examples and inspiring others.

Critical for Benchmark Magazine is that our readers have voted the winners of these awards. Therefore the results are unbiased.
