Vemotion VB-36 MIL-SPEC, multi-stream, multi-media hybrid video encoder & recorder
Advertisement
The VB-36 is a rugged MIL-SPEC, multi-stream, multi-media hybrid encoder and recorder manufactured by the UK streaming specialists, Vemotion
Delivering high-quality video combined with extremely low latency, the VB-36 encoder supports any mix of analogue, IP, HDMI and HD-SDI inputs. It capitalises on Vemotion’s V-TX transmission technology, to deliver amazingly low latency and high-quality images transmitted at efficient bitrates, this is performed even within the most challenging of wireless (GPRS, 3G, 4GLTE, 5G, Wi-Fi and Satellite), or wired (UTP and fibre) network conditions.
Suitable for a wide variety of video transmission applications, the rugged, aluminium bodied MIL-SPEC VB-36 is ideal for use in hostile environments, such on-board vehicles or extremes of operating temperature. Offering flexible performance, the encoder caters for additional input ports and PoE, to provide power for multiple IP cameras from just one device.
In combination with the Vemotion Vv viewer, users can choose a camera to view, using data only when viewed. Multiple cameras can be viewed in different split-screen formats, including mosaic and quad screen, from just a single stream. Furthermore, the VB-36 can accommodate more streams and more analogue cards, or an additional modem etc, to provide flexible configuration to meet any advanced streaming requirement.
Designed to be ‘plug & play’, the VB-36 employs user-friendly set-up and features, and together with a local user interface, includes the ability to define on-board recording and transmission parameters, for full frame rate camera viewing and control (including recorded video playback). The encoder works without the need for any specialist SIM cards or expensive airtime contracts, which preserves precious budgets by keeping usage costs down to a minimum.
Ideal for Police, Local Authorities, Emergency Services and Military applications, the VB-36 employs Vemotion’s optimised video compression and unique, low latency, V-TX transmission technology, which is fully encrypted and secure. VB-36 live video can be viewed from any single or multiple remote locations, via mobile phone or integrated 3rd party control room VMS, to support a variety of overt or covert monitoring requirements.
Easy to add to existing infrastructure, the VB36 is a highly reliable, robust and flexible encoder and recorder, suitable for a wide variety of professional video streaming applications. Its simplicity of operation makes it a compelling choice when considering a high-performance encoder to support many camera inputs. In addition, multiple channels of transmission from the same unit are possible with additional licensing.
