SEASON
It’s about the future It’s that time of year again. It’s time to think about the future. Time to put some important dates in the calendar even though they are months away but totally worth building around. Time to think about inviting family, friends and business contacts to some of the best Arts and Entertainment events anywhere. It’s time to think about what is possible at Proctors, and, now, too, at Capital Repertory Theatre. Yes, this year Proctors joined hands with Capital Rep to manage our region’s premiere producing theater company. A Regional first, Proctors will have the best the world has to offer in theater, music, comedy, dance and film brought right into our facilities in Schenectady and the best that the region has to offer in theater produced right on Pearl Street in Albany. It’s all right here in your hands, in as comprehensive a catalogue of cultural offerings as we have ever had. Your future. Four Broadway shows still playing in New York will be right here at Proctors, including the smash multi-week run of Jersey Boys. A season at Capital Rep that has recent award winning Broadway plays in addition to a fabulous holiday run of the Man of La Mancha. Opera, Symphony, international movies all on the biggest screens in the Capital Region tied to the best sound systems money can buy. As the saying goes, “It doesn’t get any better than this!” Learn, laugh, smile, cry, be amazed, challenged and entertained. See something you know and love or see something you’ve never even heard of before. Better yet, do both! The best there is to offer for a community boldly entering the next century....thinking about the future. Philip Morris CEO
