BCG reports profit and employee growth

Boston Consulting Group (BCG) was able to maintain a healthy growth rate of 8% for full-year 2020, recording $8.6 billion in revenue. It also added a further 1000 employees globally. The firm invested $150m to help both public and private sector organisations respond to COVID19, plus $300m into its social impact and sustainability efforts.

Food Northwest joins PCC food waste efforts

Food Northwest has joined the Pacific Coast Collaborative in an effort to reduce the pernicious impact of food waste - highlighting the need for supply chain action. The trade association joins the West Coast Voluntary Agreement to Reduce Wasted Food, which aims to cut food waste in half by 2030.

Billions lost annually through poor spend control

A report by Soldo finds that European businesses lose £301 billion annually due to poor spending controls. Germany is worst affected, losing £54bn, while the UK and France both lose £37bn each year - that’s equivalent to 2% of all business revenue in the UK. 5 INDONESIA
