Acquagrande giulio cappellini roberto palomba Lâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;impatto fortemente architettonico ha contraddistinto il lavabo Acquagrande fin dalla sua prima presentazione alla mostra culturale di Abitare il Tempo nel 1997; le sue grandi dimensioni e le linee minimali lo hanno reso, in breve tempo, lâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;icona del bagno contemporaneo e del rigore geometrico.

A strong architectural impact has highlighted the Acquagrande washbasin since its first appearance during the Abitare il Tempo show in 1997; its large dimensions and minimal lines have rapidly made it an icon of the new bathroom, of geometrical rigour and of a renewed domestic living.

The Twin Set range is composed of round basins, in various models and two sizes: vanity, semi-inset, undercounter, with or without tap ledge, bench and wall hung. It is possible to create many different arrangements thanks to the particular wall and corner brackets. Twin Column, created for the Twin Set 42 cm basin, is a symbol of the collection.

Il lavabo Fonte viene ora proposto anche in una dimensione più ridotta, mantenendo inalterate le linee e la classicità del modello base. Fonte 50 esiste nella sola versione da appoggio e può essere montato sulle varie panche della Collezione Flaminia. Fonte Tonda é un lavabo da appoggio caratterizzato dalla linea a conca tonda nella base che si ovalizza nella supericie superiore. Il taglio netto degli spigoli conferisce grande modernità a questo elemento.

Fonte washbasin is now presented in a smaller dimension but with the same classic shape and proportion of the first model. Fonte 50 is produced only in the bench version and it can be mounted on the various Flaminia Collection’s benches. Fonte Tonda is a bench basin whose line is round at the base and becomes oval at the top. The corners disappear to give a very modern look to this element.

Monowash, Miniwash e Wash giulio cappellini Monowash Ă¨ un lavabo a colonna realizzato in un unico blocco di ceramica. La forma della vasca, quadrata con angoli smussati, e della colonna, leggermente ristretta verso il basso, ne fanno un elemento dalla geometria precisa ma dalle forme morbide. Dalla famiglia Miniwash e Monowash nasce Wash, una vasca dalle dimensioni contenute e dal massimo comfort, grazie alla parete di fondo particolarmente inclinata. Anche questa vasca Ă¨ realizzata in pietraluce, materiale di grande soliditĂ e di facile manutenzione.

Monowash is a basin created from one ceramic block. The square shape of the basin with its rounded corners and the pedestal, slightly smaller at the base, make it a precise geometric element with a soft look. Wash, coming from Miniwash and Monowash basin, is a bath-tub characterized by reduced thickness and dimensions and by its particularly inclined internal shape, which gives a real comfort. Even this bath-tub is produced in pietraluce, a very solid material with a simple maintenance.

Leggera gilda borgnini L’uomo nel nostro mondo frenetico, sottoposto a pressione e a stress quotidiano, viene sempre più privato della sua dimensione naturale di equilibrio e benessere fisico e spirituale. Pochi sono i luoghi dove può ritrovare se stesso e il proprio io interiore: uno di questi è la stanza da bagno, eletta spazio di raccoglimento e ritempramento. Nella vasca Leggera l’uomo può ritrovare la propria dimensione e unicità liberandosi della pesantezza del quotidiano, in un gioco tra vuoti e pieni dove a prevalere sono linee aeree, superfici sottili e volumi impercettibili.

People living in this frantic world have lost their natural balance and wellness of both body and mind, because of the daily stress and pressure. There are so few places where you can find yourself and your soul again; one of them is the bathroom, a space dedicated to silence and relax. Laying in the Leggera bath-tub the human being, free from the weight of daily routine, can find its dimension and its identity again, in a play of empty and full spaces where light lines, thin surfaces and imperceptible volumes are the real protagonists.

Leggera is a shower-tub with important dimensions. The basic idea of this project recalls the image of a folded tissue holding water.

Io e Si alexander duringer stefano rosini Dall’incontro tra la razionalità della geometria e il minimalismo formale nasce IO, un nuovo concept bagno di Flaminia: una fusione di forme e sensazioni, frutto di proporzioni geometriche e morbide curve, nonché della più avanzata tecnologia. Oltre a tre lavabi incasso di diversa misura e una vasca da bagno dal forte impatto visivo, la collezione IO comprende vaso e bidet sospesi, che accostano ad una ritrovata ergonomia elementi innovativi. Sia i lavabi che la vasca da bagno vengono proposti insieme ad un’ampia gamma di strutture nate appositamente per avvolgere e sostenere la plasticità della ceramica.

The encounter between rational geometry and minimal shapes created IO. The new Flaminia bathroom concept, which interprets the fusion of forms and sensations, is a result of geometrical dimensions, elegant lines and very high technology. Besides three vanity basins in different sizes and a bath-tub with a strong visual effect, the IO collection includes a wall hung wc and bidet, combining a refound ergonomy and some innovative elements. Both the washbasins and the bath-tub are presented with a large range of structures purposely studied to wrap and support the ceramic.

The SI taps, through the simple shape of a ribbon, interpret a water fall, transmitting and synthesising its harmony and natural flow.

Una romano adolini Il progetto Una propone l’idea di una nuova spazialità dell’ambiente bagno, che superi l’immagine tradizionale dei classici pezzi ceramici, a vantaggio di un vero e proprio sistema integrato di sanitari e lavabi incorporati in mobili contenitori. Parallelepipedi dalle linee squadrate ed essenziali fungono da supporto agli elementi in ceramica, caratterizzati da un innovativo profilo che ne accentua le linee morbide e dall’originale sistema di chiusura proposto anche per il bidet.

The Una project suggests a new idea of space in the bath-room, breaking the traditional image of classical ceramic products with sanitaryware and basins inserted in cases. Blocks of essential square lines support the ceramic elements, characterised by an innovative and fluid shape and by an original cover for the bidet.

Una is a new concept of the bath-room that can be realised through custom-made solutions –like brickwork– or with a program of modular elements, that can be combined in various ways and in different finishes. It is purposely designed for small and large spaces.

Plate patrick norguet Plate è più di una linea di nuovi prodotti; è un vero e proprio concetto: trasformare il bagno in uno spazio da vivere. Il sistema Plate è il risultato di una ricerca ben precisa, volta a far scomparire tutti gli elementi del bagno tradizionale per rendere vitale quel luogo fonte di benessere. Come una micro-architettura, permette di comporre secondo necessità uno spazio doccia, che diventa allora un tutt’uno tra pavimento e parete. Nell’idea la semplicità e la bellezza vengono trasferiti all’ambiente domestico. Le funzioni si integrano in modo naturale: il pavimento diventa muro, la parete diviene funzionale rimanendo in armonia con il design delle forme addolcite. Infatti, il bacino è perfettamente armonico con la geometria del design contemporaneo.

Plate is more than a new line of products; it explains the concept of turning the bathroom into a living space. Plate system is the result of an accurate search: hiding every classic elements of bathroom, so that the place of wellness can become a “living” room. Like a micro-architecture, permits to create a particular space dedicated to shower, in accordance with every different necessity. Wall and floor become the same thing.Functions are naturally integrated: floor becomes wall, wall gets functionality without compromising its harmony with the design of delicate shapes. In facts, the basin perfectly accords with the geometry of this contemporary design.

Volo alessio pinto Il progetto Volo ha la pretesa di non ricalcare formule già consolidate, ma tende ad affermarsi con la sola forza dell’idea che veicola. La filosofia è semplice perché si propone come immediatamente comprensibile da chiunque, e al tempo stesso complessa perché suggerisce un salto “estetico-linguistico” rispetto al linguaggio classico della ceramica.

Volo has the pretext of not repeating ready consolidated formulas, Volo objects tend to confirm their own existence with the mere force of expression behind each idea. The philosophy at the base of the Volo project is simplicity of design; readily comprehensible to anyone and at the same time complex, suggesting an “aesthetic-linguistic” leap with respects to the traditionally classical language of ceramics.

L'elaborazione del lavabo Volo nasce dall'esigenza di cogliere un nuovo design nella produzione dell’oggetto-sanitario senza proporre una semplice variazione decorativo-formale dell’oggetto stesso. Spessori lineari e leggeri a sezione costante, estrema semplicità compositiva rendono il lavabo Volo unico nel panorama della ceramica.

The realisation of the Volo basin grew out of a need to introduce a new line of design into the production of sanitary-object, without just making simple variations on “formal decoration”. Volo washbasin is very unique with its linear soft shape and its simple design.

L’acqua disegna la materia con un’armonia alla quale qualsiasi designer aspira. Chiamato in causa sulla tipologia che più di tutte ha a che fare con lo scorrimento dell’acqua, ho cercato di fare un passo indietro, lasciando che gli oggetti si disegnassero da soli. Come sassi di un fiume levigati dal tempo, che si lasciano attraversare dai flussi interni ed esterni che scorrono nella nostra vita. Inoltre la linea si arricchisce di un elemento da accostare ai bidet delle due serie: il nuovo complemento Niagara.

Niagara, presented for the first time in Milan on the occasion of the Salone del Mobile exhibition in 2005, was projected by Flaminia to offer an original ceramic flushing cistern to the market. This new product is a valid substitute of the traditional monobloc cistern, matching Link Back To Wall and Terra wcs. The line is completed by an element that suits the bidets of the two series: Niagara panel.

La collezione Flaminia si compone anche di alcune linee di accessori, oltre ad una ricca varietà di ceramiche per completare l’arredamento del bagno contemporaneo. Brick: mensole a forte spessore in ceramica. Sia per le dimensioni che per il materiale si prestano a composizioni pattern suggestive che sottolineano la natura basic di questi prodotti. Tra gli accessori per il bagno proposti da Flaminia trovano spazio anche Frame e Cest, due elementi in cui si fondono eleganza e praticità. Frame è una reinterpretrazione della mensola di dimensioni contenute, realizzata in materiale ceramico, fornisce un pratico vano contenitore o semplicemente un elemento decorativo utilizzabile in una o più unità. Cest è un cestino da toilette caratterizzato dal desing gradevole e minimale che richiama le linee di alcuni famosi lavabi Flaminia.

Alessandro Mendini è uno dei massimi esponenti del design e dell’architettura contemporanea. Il decoro è sempre stato alla base dei suoi progetti rendendoli magici e sorprendenti, mai banali. L'inizio della collaborazione con Flaminia è segnato da due progetti. “AZ” è un intervento di decoro di grande impatto visivo che da una nuova ed inedita immagine al lavabo Monowash disegnato da Giulio Cappellini.

Alessandro Mendini is one of the major exponents in design and contemporary architecture. Décor has always been at the base of his projects making them surprisingly magical , never banal. His collaboration with Flaminia starts with two projects. “AZ” is a décor resulting in a new and unedited version of the Monowash basin by Giulio Cappellini.

Rocchetto è un versatile sgabello-tavolino in ceramica declinato in tre diversi decori (Rocchetto1, Rocchetto2 e Rocchetto3) e due colorazioni (nero e champagne). Rocchetto oltre a sancire il rapporto tra l’azienda e questo grande maestro segna l’ingresso di Flaminia in una nuova area di prodotto, quella dei complementi in ceramica per la casa.

Rocchetto is a stool/table in three different patterns (Rocchetto1, Rocchetto2 and Rocchetto3) and two solid colours (black and champagne). Rocchetto, in addition to consolidating the relationship between Flaminia and this great maestro, marks Flaminia’s entrance into a new product area, that of ceramic complements for the home.

Dopo il grande successo ottenuto dalla linea Void di Fabio Novembre per Ceramica Flaminia, il designer ha pensato di ampliare la linea con due nuovi lavabi, rinnovati nella forma e nelle dimensioni: Void lavabo 60 e Void lavabo 44. Le caratteristiche della gamma restano inalterate: la ceramica appare come modellata dall’acqua, simile ai sassi di un fiume levigati dal tempo.

Following the great success of the Void series for Ceramica Flaminia, Fabio Novembre has created two new basins, renewed in dimensions and shape: Void basin 60 and Void basin 44. The characteristics of the series are unaltered: the ceramics appear as if shaped by water, like the stones of a river eroded by time.

L’immagine di un lago, un bacino naturale e il suo bagnasciuga. Questa l’ispirazione di Rodolfo Dordoni che ha lavorato per integrare la parte di contenimento dell’acqua (il lago), con il piano d’appoggio (la spiaggia) per diversi prodotti e accessori. Nella nuova collezione Como, il designer declina nell’arredobagno la sua cifra stilistica improntata all’essenzialità. Geometria in ogni singolo dettaglio, pulizia delle forme e compattezza, il tutto per un effetto essenziale e raffinato. Queste le caratteristiche dell’innovativa linea di lavabo, vaso e bidet COMO, che da oggi si presentano anche nella versione sospesa per un effetto ancora più suggestivo.

The image of a lake and its waterside is what inspired Rodolfo Dordoni to integrate a basin (the lake) and a ledge (the waterside) for various products and accessories. With the new Como collection, the designer extends his stylistic expertise of essentialism towards the bathroom. The shape of each single piece results extremely clean and compact. The pureness of the ceramics is exalted with a refined and suggestive effect, physical yet abstract. Geometry in every single detail and solid clean lines for an essential and refined effect. Volo nasce dall'esigenza di cogliere un nuovo design nella produzione dell’oggetto-sanitario senza proporre una semplice variazione decorativo-formale. Mostra cosa c’è in un oggetto-sanitario, elevando a valore di segno la tensione reciproca che lega gli elementi strutturali. Osservando la collezione si scorge dapprima il piano d’uso, poi il bacino, infine il corpo d’ancoraggio. Spessori ridotti, linee dirette, bordi piani e sottili. Sembra uno stile tipico della plastica o del vetro o dell’acciaio. È l’oggi di un nuovo linguaggio mai “parlato” dalla ceramica. La ceramica che ha restituito Volo, una linea dall’estetica strettamente razionalista.

The realisation of the Volo line grew out of a need to introduce a new line of design into the production of sanitary-object, without just making simple variations on “formal decoration”. Volo shows what there is behind a sanitary-object, creating a sign of the reciprocal reverberation between each of the constructional components which make up a Volo object. Looking at Volo first of all you perceive the work surface, then the basin and lastly the fixing structure. Reduced thickness, straight lines, fine thin surfaces. It seems the typical style of plastic, glass or steel and now of ceramics too. The ceramic has demonstrated how pliable and adaptable to fantasy and shape it can be. In fact it created Volo, a line with an extremely rational aesthetics.

Roll nendo

Il lavabo Roll, disegnato da Nendo è realizzato in ceramica e ricorda un pezzo di carta arrotolato su se stesso. Questo lavabo, pensato per essere appoggiato su un piano, non è un semplice contenitore ma un argine. Anche Roll, come tutte le creazioni dell’originale team di designer nipponici guidati dal trentunenne Oki Sato, è il prodotto di una creatività eclettica e geniale, che non tralascia mai l’aspetto funzionale degli oggetti. La linea comprende due lavabi: tondo cm 44 e ovale cm 56.

Like a single piece of paper rolled into a complete circle. Roll wash basin by Nendo is less an object to hold water than a boundary around it. Roll, as all the creations of the original team of Japanese designers lead by the thirty-two year old Oki Sato, is the result of an eclectic and ingenious creativity that does not overlook the functional aspect of the objects. The line includes two basins: round 44 cm and oval 56 cm.

Albero massimiliano abati

La doccia Albero disegnata da Massimiliano Abati, vuole ricreare l’immagine di qualcosa di fortemente evocativo ma anche quotidiano e familiare. Un modo per riavvicinarsi alla natura nelle forme della struttura e nel colore di comandi verdi, che ricordano le foglie di un vero albero. Albero è un sistema doccia composto da piastrelle quadrate in ceramica che permettono composizioni quadrate e rettangolari in varie dimensioni. Queste piastre sono caratterizzate da un disegno in rilievo che oltre ad un effetto decorativo hanno una funzione antiscivolo. L’albero, realizzato in ceramica può essere posizionato agli angoli della composizione scelta. Ancora una volta Ceramica Flaminia propone un uso alternativo della ceramica con un progetto ambizioso quanto “visionario”.

The shower Albero, designed by Massimiliano Abati, recreates a strongly evocative and familiar image. The form of the structure and the green colour of the control levers remind us of a tree, bringing us, in some way, back to nature. Albero is a shower system composed of square ceramic tiles that can be installed in a square or rectangular compostion. These tiles are characterized by a pattern that, in addition to enhancing the aesthetical aspect of the tile, acts as non slip surface. The tree itself can be placed in any corner of the selected composition. Once again, Ceramica Flaminia proposes an alternative to the usual use of ceramics through an ambitious and “visionary” project.

Sistema di contenitori per il bagno realizzati in diverse dimensioni con ante, cassetti, vani a giorno. Sono realizzati in materiale precomposto idrofobo in quattro diverse finiture Matrix. Questi contenitori possono essere utilizzati autonomamente fissati a muro oppure fungere da piani di appoggio per differenti lavabi della collezione Flaminia con l'ausilio di sostegni a terra in metallo cromato. La serie Ă¨ completata da specchi in diverse dimensioni con mensola di appoggio a sbalzo.

The compono bathroom system is made up of various containers in different dimensions with doors, drawers and niches. They are realized in hydrophobic material in four different Matrix finishes. The containers can be fixed to the wall or, with the help of chromed metal supports, used as counters for the various basins of the Flaminia collection. The system is completed by mirrors with shelves in a range of sizes.

Fold di Lorenzo Damiani è la collezione di accessori da bagno in tubolare cromato prodotto mediante piegatura meccanica. Con la collezione Fold si è voluto enfatizzare la poetica del gesto, visualizzando nell’oggetto lo sforzo compiuto per piegare il tubolare. Il profilo schiacciato che ne deriva, usualmente considerato un difetto, viene assunto come elemento esteticamente caratterizzante l’oggetto. La collezione è composta da mensole, portasalviette, appendini e portascopino.

Fold by Lorenzo Damiani is a collection of bathroom accessories made of mechanically bent chrome pipes. With the Fold collection, the crushed profile, usually considered a defect, becomes an aesthetical characteristic of the object emphasizing and visualizing the poetic gesture and the effort made to bend the pipe. The collection is composed of shelves, towel holders, hooks and a brush holder.
