Labelisation of local products The label represents a value added for the product that can be sold with a guarantee of quality. In order to obtain the label, product should meet a series of requirements. The local product with the "Qualità Parco" label has also a second advantage: it belongs to a particular distribution chain directly connecting the "Qualità Parco" producer with the "Qualità Parco" restaurants, that must offer their guests local and genuine products.

Geopark Networking Networking played a very strong role in the creation, development and success of the Global Geoparks since the establishment of the Global Geoparks Network in February 2004. APGN Coordination Committee Meeting Toyooka city – 16 September 2015

Networking among Global Geoparks Networking among Global Geoparks is taking place at the national, regional and global level and seems to be the main factor of their success worldwide. Networking among Global Geoparks is playing a crucial role in facilitating the sharing of good practices among Geoparks, exchange of experiences on geo-conservation, geotourism and geoeducation, exchange of personnel, formation of joint initiatives and projects, creation of common promotional tools, organization of common Geopark activities such as educational programmes, festivals, local art feasts and participation in tourist fairs.

GGN common activities A brilliant evolving Global Network of cooperation and sharing of experiences and best practices in protection and sustainable management of significant Earth heritage sites, geo-conservation, educational activities, geo-tourism and local development.

Regional Geopark Networks Regional Geopark Networks include GGN members at a regional or continental level. Regional Geopark Networks serve for the coordination of GGN activities at a regional or continental level and as fora for the exchange of information and co-operation between Global Geoparks and Global Geopark professionals in the region. The activities of Regional Geopark Networks include the organisation of Regional Geopark Conferences, workshops and seminars, capacity building activities, common projects, promotional activities and common publications. Each Geopark Network forms a Coordination Commission which is the governing body of the Regional Network and elects two Coordinators and an Advisory Committee according to the Regional Geopark Network Rules of operation.
