My favorite holiday The first thing that crossed my mind when I was asked to write this text was: none of them, I love my job, my working days are a blessing and this whole issue of dwelling about the limited holiday time is just not for me. However, to be completely honest, deep down I know this is not true. For years, I have tried to convince myself that I love my job, partly because I really like what I do for a living, and partly because of all this new trend about finding your passion and the belief that I had already found mine in my current job. The naked truth is that I haven't reached that point...yet. So, for the moment, I am like everybody else and I do have a favorite holiday: Easter. The reasons are very simple: the weather is perfect(not too cold, not too warm); the length is sufficient for a getaway and family meals are not the norm ( at least regarding my family customs). Also, where I live, Easter holidays are followed by a week of regional celebrations called "Spring celebrations". We enjoy some extra days away from work and we hold parties and festivals welcoming the arrival of Spring.
