DIRECTORS Dear Salons, Spas & Clinics, Mark Twain once said that there is no surer way to find out whether you like or hate someone than to travel with them. My travel partner is also my business partner and my life partner of 25 years, Lisa. And as it turns out, I like her a great deal. I know this for sure, because in the first quarter of 2019, Lisa and I literally visited every corner of the globe in search of new opportunities and solutions that PBS could offer our salon partners. Our travels took us from Florida to Fiji, then from London to Bologna, and not only did we uncover some very exciting new additions to the Professional Beauty Solutions brand stable, but we had a great time doing it! This issue of PBS Magazine showcases these new acquisitions, and we hope you’re as excited as we are by what you find in these pages. While many businesses may be stressing about the current retail climate, our optimism for the future of salons, spas and clinics like yours is at an all-time high.
