INSPIRED BY ART

A Mother’s/Parent’s Love

There is no more endless than this besides time itself.

Then again, a life span consists of exactly that- time.

I speak of the endless love that a mother/parent has for her child.

It is endless, unconditional, relentless and uncompromising.

There is no retirement plan. This love is for life.

It might waver from time to time, but it never relinquishes.

It is endless.

It is a mother’s/parent’s love.

Superman/Subhuman

I am a superhero from within. Yes my flesh and my insecurities hinders me into my true self. A subhuman.

My mind and my spirit float like a helium balloon, yet my flesh makes me grounded, like an anchor at the bottom of the ocean.

My mind says I can leap tall buildings in a single bound.

But flesh is my kryptonite that just makes me meek and keeps me down. So I challenge my flesh to contend my spirit.

So that I can be super as opposed to the sub under that my flesh can create.
