GENERATE project: Every year at NFYT we invite a special guest theatre company to run our GENERATE* project, working with young people from the local area to GENERATE a theatre performance from scratch during the festival. This year’s GENERATE is run by Scottish physical theatre and street arts specialists Conflux, and we know they are planning a massive, end-of-festival spectacular in a local park to close the whole event with a bang!

Getting Digital: At this year’s NFYT we will be celebrating the value of Youth Theatre and Performance locally, nationally, internationally…and digitally! With live performance webcasts, photos, real-time reviews, uploads and updates throughout the festival, this year’s audience will be truly international – for the first time ever, anyone can come/see/share the festival anywhere in the world at www.promoteyt.co.uk Camping: Forget going to a music festival this year… All accompanied Youth Theatre group bookings are encouraged to come along and pitch a tent, and enjoy the whole ‘Summer Gathering’ experience before and after the shows. Performing Youth Theatre groups will be camping out over the weekend - ensuring some singalongs and BBQs as well as the performances at Rothes Halls.

Booking: All NFYT 2010 performances are open to the public. Tickets are available on the door (cash sales only), but you can reserve tickets by contacting Rothes Halls box office on 01592 611101 or through www.attfife.org Alternatively, accompanied Youth Theatre groups (includes school groups) who wish to attend the whole event can make a group booking, with the option of accommodation (camping) and catering.
