elcome to ProMusica’s SummerFEST! The evening comes alive with the sounds, rhythms and influences of Astor Piazzolla as we celebrate his centenary year. Concertmaster Katherine McLin is featured on his beloved and virtuosic work “Four Seasons” and the concert closes with his fiery Adiós Nonino and Fuga Y Misterio. Works by Bach and Argentine composer Golijov round out the program – Bach who inspired Piazzolla; and Golijov who was inspired by this treasured tango master.
ProMusica concertmaster, violinist Katherine McLin enjoys an extremely varied and prolific performing career as a concerto soloist, recitalist, and chamber and orchestral musician. She has made over 100 soloist appearances with orchestras across the country.
