OPERATION MODE The inlet valve is connected to the anti-tipping system. The mechanism is disengaged and the valve operable separately. The sweeping device is also automatically disengageable. Three automatic sweeping angles are available: ± 15° (ie, a sweeping of 30°) + 25° -15° or vice versa (ie a 40° sweeping) ± 25° (ie a 50° sweeping). This device operates at all pressures from 2 bar up to the maximum operational pressure. The sweeping speed is adjustable, it is possible to have different sweeping speeds for "left-right" and "right-left". The horizontal orientation can be changed during operation of the automatic sweeping. The elevation and horizontal orientations are adjustable via the worm screw. The system is fool proof except with voluntary action (irreversible mechanism and worm wheel). A safety device is blocking elevation below 30°. The device can be disconnected by voluntary action and return to automatic use when above 30°. The 4 flexible legs can be unfolded with one hand and lock automatically when in unfolded position. They can be folded with one hand once the locking device is unlocked. Once legs are folded, the device takes little space. A single man can take care of the transport and operation of the device thanks to its engineered weight. The KATZ is a complete unit: provided with a safety strap, an operation manual and a ring for attachment. Thread inlet 2.5" BSP on which to mount a fitting or clappered siamese with several inlets. Thread outlet 2.5" NH on which to mount the full range of our nozzle tips, water pipe, "Powerfoam" foam branchpipe or others. The KATZ is multi-functional and versatile, the perfect partner for the fireman extinguishing fires safely.
