Broken Arrow Ledger 15
Integrated Business Technologies growing fast By Leslie Metzger Staff Writer lesliem@baledgercom
Broken Arrow-based Integrated Business Technologies, 1914 W. Reno St., Suite A, was recently named one of the fastest growing privately-owned businesses by Inc. Magazine. The magazine ranked IBT 1,137 on its 2012 Inc. 50015000 award list. The company has grown 501 percent since its creation, expanding to 26 employees after beginning with two people. "It's a great honor and I think it really shows what our team has been able to do," said IBT President Eric Kehmeier. "We've been extremely client-driven and [the] primary focus, I think, for a lot of our growth is because we take a lot of pride in what we do."

IBT is a technology consulting firm for small- and medium-sized businesses. They sell, service and maintain computers, networks and telephone systems. It is a help desk for many companies that have IT problems, including replacing equipment, changing servers and providing training. IBT does not develop websites or web applications. Kehmeier said IBT tries to take care of technology so businesses can focus on their own jobs. "The more that we can do kind of behind the scenes to let people do what they need to be doing in their primary role, the better," he said. IBT also tries to help clients stay ahead of the curve with new technologies. "We don't want to put
bleeding-edge technologies into our client base," Kehmeier said. "We want to know they are proven, but we still want to be able to give them the best advantage in their business so they can function properly. "Nowadays with technology, it's he who utilizes it best kind of stays ahead of their competition, so we want to make sure that our clients are ahead of the game as best as possible." IBT is a relationship-driven company that strives to tailor their services to specific-client needs. "If a lawyer calls us and says my printer is not working, well a technician may not think that that's a big deal, but it may be a huge deal if that lawyer is needing that brief to go to court. So, we try really hard to make sure that

we understand the needs of our clients," Kehmeier said. "Most of the time people don't really call happy when they have a problem with their computer, so the more efficient that we are, the more efficient they
