WHAT'S NEW SAI KUNG 西貢週末遊

hat is the first thing that comes into your mind about Sai Kung? Is it Seafood, Sea Breeze or Sunshine? If you are a seafood lover, there are two Michelin seafood restaurants in Sai Kung that you cannot afford to miss. Besides, there are several recreation activities that you can absolutely relax your body and soul. Following is a suggested itinerary of a get-a-way day trip in Sai Kung.

1 Colour Brown is an ideal place for you to start your day in Sai Kung if you want a chill place to enjoy your breakfast with a cup of coffee. They have more than 30 different species of coffee and each of them are roasted freshly, including the most popular ones such as Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee and some rear ones such as Dutch coffee, Cubita coffee and Kopi Luwak. How to get there It is located on See Cheung Street, just next to the Sai Kung Promenade.

2 Sai Kung is popular for its pristine beaches and has some of the most stunning ones. Tai Long Wan, which is commonly known as Tai Long Sai Wan, located at the coast of Sai Kung Country Park and often recognized and awarded as one of the best beaches and scenic sites in Hong Kong, even in South China. It requires some effort to get there by hiking around 45 to 60 minutes on the Stage 2 of the MacLehose Trail. However, you will be around with green hills and scenery of the beautiful sea during hiking and it could make the hike much more enjoyable. You will also be rewarded after the hike with white fine sands and clear blue water when you get there. You can hike there in the morning then spend sometime there enjoying the sunlight and the sound of waves, which make it the perfect escape from the city. How to get there Take bus 94 or 96R from Sai Kung town centre and get off at Pak Tam Au. Alternatively, take a taxi from Sai Kung to the Sai Wan drop off. A speed boat runs from Ham Tin to Sai Kung on weekends, but only if the waters aren't too rough and there are enough passengers.

Sai Kung is one of the seven approved paragliding sites in Hong Kong. It is possible to do training courses in Sai Kung in different levels. However, if you merely have limited time, tandem flights accompanied by professionals can be arranged in Sai Kung as well, then you can literally just turn up, take off and fly like a bird. Golden Visa Easy Access to Europe

s a holder of a Golden Visa in Portugal, you can easily access the European Schengen area, which covers 26 countries.

The Schengen area is currently Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

Obtaining the Golden Visa allows the holder to travel around the Schengen area, which makes traveling between its 26 member countries less bureaucratic and much easier. You do not have to go through the hassle, expense or time to obtain individual visas for each country; you just use the Schengen Visa for all its member countries.

Portugal has introduced the Golden Residence Program to bring greater foreign investment into the country by offering in exchange a simpler and quicker way to obtain a five year temporary residence permit (Golden Visa) for non EU citizens.

Investments must be maintained for a minimum period of five years and currently cover three areas, Property Investments (above EUR$500,000 in

total), Capital Investments (transfer of funds above EUR$1 Million) and Job Creation (creation of a minimum of 10 jobs). At the end of the five-year period applicants are eligible to apply for Portuguese citizenship.
