DND hosted a grand Gala Dinner attended by President Ersin Tatar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu and distinguished guests to celebrate the success of 2023 and welcome 2024.
DND, 2023 başarısını kutlamak ve 2024'e hoş geldin demek için Cumhurbaşkanı Ersin Tatar, Başbakan Yardımcısı ve Turizm Kültür, Gençlik ve Çevre Bakanı Fikri Ataoğlu ve seçkin davetlilerin katıldığı büyük bir Gala Yemeği düzenledi.
As a pioneering force in innovative real estate projects, DND organized a magnificent VIP Gala Dinner at the Limak Bafra Deluxe Hotel. The event, marking a year filled with achievements and strategic partnerships in Northern Cyprus after their success in the United States, was attended by approximately 650 distinguished guests.
Honored by the presence of President Ersin Tatar, the evening was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu, and the President of the Cyprus Turkish Contractors Association, Cafer Gürcafer.
President Tatar, during his speech mentioned his acquaintance with DND's Founder Ozan Dökmecioğlu for about 30 years, highlighted Dökmecioğlu's significant achievements as a great finance person and congratulated DND for its investment and employment contributions to Northern Cyprus. He also emphasized the trust that can always be placed in a leader like Ozan Dökmecioğlu.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister Ataoğlu, in his speech, expressed his satisfaction with the knowledge, business experience, and investment power that Ozan Dökmecioğlu brought to his homeland after DND's success in the United States.
Yenilikçi gayrimenkul projelerinin öncü gücü olan DND, Limak Bafra Deluxe Hotel'de muazzam bir VIP Gala Yemeği düzenledi. ABD'den sonra Kuzey Kıbrıs'ta kısa sürede ulaştığı başarılar ve stratejik ortaklıklarla dolu bir yılı işaret eden etkinlik, yaklaşık 650 seçkin konuğun katılımıyla gerçekleşti.
Cumhurbaşkanı Ersin Tatar'ın katılımıyla onurlandırdığı geceye Başbakan Yardımcısı, Turizm, Kültür, Gençlik ve Çevre Bakanı Fikri Ataoğlu, Kıbrıs Türk Müteahhitler Birliği Başkanı Cafer Gürcafer de katıldı.
Gece esnasında yaptığı konuşmada, DND’nin Kurucusu Ozan Dökmecioğlu ile yaklaşık 30 yıldır tanıştığını ve çok iyi bir finans insanı olduğu için Dökmecioğlu'nun büyük başarılar yakaladığını söyleyen Cumhurbaşkanı Tatar, Kuzey Kıbrıs'a getirdiği yatırım ve istihdam gücünden dolayı DND'yi kutladı. Ayrıca, Ozan Dökmecioğlu gibi bir lidere her zaman güven duyulabileceğini vurguladı.
Başbakan Yardımcısı ve Bakan Ataoğlu da yaptığı konuşma esnasında DND'nin ABD'deki başarısından sonra memleketine getirdiği bilgi birikimi, iş tecrübesi ve yatırım gücünden duyduğu memnuniyeti aktardı.

During his speech, DND's Founder Ozan Dökmecioğlu shared the inspiration behind the initiative towards Northern Cyprus. As a Turkish Cypriot raised in Gazimağusa, emphasized his aim to bring creative, unique, and environmentally friendly designs and construction techniques to his homeland, inspired by the success of his construction company in the United States. He highlighted his aspiration to bring a fresh perspective to the sector.

Dökmecioğlu emphasized the rapid and significant progress achieved in a short period of time, highlighting the strategic partnership established with architect Aynur Zorba Gülol, who has extensive experience in the construction sector. He also extended his gratitude to DND's business partners for their hardwork and commitment.
Discussing their investments in Northern Cyprus and their future goals, Dökmecioğlu outlined ambitious plans including various large-scale residential projects, 5-star hotels, retirement homes, health tourism facilities, beach clubs, and educational facilities in the real estate sector. These projects were highlighted as significant contributions to the quality lifestyle that DND aims to offer. Dökmecioğlu expressed pride in the employment and workforce brought to his homeland through DND's investments and emphasized their representation of Northern Cyprus abroad with their successes in real estate development.
Aynur Zorba Gülol, Director of DND Northern Cyprus, expressed gratitude to all business partners and extended beautiful wishes for the new year during her speech. Gülol stated that DND showcases its commitment to creative designs, quality construction, and environmental sustainability through current projects such as La Joya Perla, La Joya Perla II, Ulivo, La Joya, Beach Club & Hotel. She highlighted promising a new era of luxury living in Northern Cyprus, and that the projects are scheduled for delivery in 2025 and 2026.

DND Construction, one of the rapidly growing companies in North Cyprus, extended a helping hand to children in need by donating clothes.
As one of the prominent construction companies in North Cyprus, DND Construction added another social responsibility project to the region by collaborating with Gazimağusa Municipality and local authorities. Giving a helping hand to 100 less fortunate children by donating clothing during cold winter days, the company demonstrated its sensitivity to the local community and fulfilled its social responsibilities.
In her statement regarding this exemplary behavior demonstrated by DND Construction with social responsibility consciousness, Aynur Zorba Gülol, Director of the company, said, "We act with awareness of our social responsibilities. With this dontation project, we aim to support children in need, especially during cold weather conditions."
The clothing donation provided was warmly welcomed by families in the region. It was emphasized that this project is not only about financial assistance but also to reinforce the extending of a helping hand to each other. DND Construction continues to play an active role not only in the construction field but also in social responsibility, demonstrating its determination to swiftly proceed with its projects.

The inspiration behind TERRA, which is adjacent to the TERRAHILL project, comes from the first human settlements on the island of Cyprus. The design of the TERRA project is inspired by the villages of Lemba and Choirokoitia, the first settlements on the island of Cyprus. The use of a single material and rounded corner structures in round mud-brick houses built in prehistoric times has been effective throughout the TERRA project.
The design of TERRA stems from the themes of "returning to roots," "the relationship between soil and humans," "the importance of soil," and "the place of soil in our lives." The fundamental starting point of the project was the Lemba houses, reminiscent of structures rising from the earth, representing Kıbrıs Developments' theme of simplicity.
The foundation of TERRA's architecture is formed not only by textured surfaces but also by organic forms shaped using a single material, curved corners, and natural materials. This unique project allows us to experience touching stone and soil by connecting us to our roots and origins through the architectural texture, detail, and level of naturalness of its materials.

In memory of the Champion Angels, consisting of students, teachers, and parents from Gazimağusa Turkish Maarif College, Star Girls, and Star Boys Volleyball Team, who lost their lives in the Adıyaman, Turkiye Earthquake of February 6, 2023, the “Champion Angels Memorial National Architectural, Landscape, and Plastic Artwork Competition” was organized by the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Civil Engineers and Architects (KTMMOB), Gazimağusa Municipality, and the Champion Angels Preservation Association.
Gazimağusa Türk Maarif Koleji, Yıldız Kız ve Yıldız Erkek Voleybol Takımı kafilesi olarak, 6 Şubat 2023 tarihinde Türkiye Adıyaman Depremi’nde hayatlarını kaybeden öğrenciler, öğretmenler ve velilerden oluşan Şampiyon Melekler’in anısına Kıbrıs Türk Mühendis ve Mimar Odaları Birliği (KTMMOB), Gazimağusa Belediyesi ve Şampiyon Melekleri Yaşatma Derneği işbirliğiyle “Şampiyon Melekleri Yaşatma Derneği Melekler Anıtı Ulusal Mimari, Peyzaj ve Plastik Sanat Eseri Yarışması” düzenlendi.
The purpose of this monument is to commemorate the name of the Champion Angels and to create an awareness monument so that this tragic event is not forgotten. The monument was designed to show respect for the memories of this loss and also to convey a symbolic value to future generations.
The results of the monument competition held in Mağusa in memory of the Champion Angels were announced on February 29, 2024, and the successful projects were awarded.
The team that won the first prize consisted of Erhan Afşaroğlu, Şelay Aykılıç, Zekiye Yağmur Aydındağ, Merter Refikoğlu, İsmet Birman, Ulaş Yetkili, Ahmet Dağbaşı, and Çağan Oyaltan.

The passage narrates the journey of the life of the champion angels. This journey begins with the outermost convex circle, consisting of name blocks. Each angel’s name on the blocks symbolizes their birth, and the fading end of the block represents their loss. As we move towards the center, another stage of the journey and story begins. It narrates how they transitioned from their final moments to eternity.
Bu pasaj, şampiyon meleklerin hayat yolculuğunu anlatmaktadır. Bu yolculuk en dıştaki dış bükey çemberdeki isim bloklarıyla başlar. Bloklardaki her meleğin ismi onların doğumunu, bloğun sönümlenerek bitişi de onların kaybını simgeler. Merkeze doğru gidildikçe yolculuğun ve hikayenin diğer bir aşaması başlar. Son anlarından nasıl sonsuzluğa gittikleri anlatılır.

The time of the earthquake, 04:17, represents the circular structure supporting the halos of our angels hanging on the column in the center. The central monument design also symbolizes that all angels are holding onto each other, signifying that they are not alone.
04:17 deprem saati ise, merkezde yer alan kolona asılan meleklerimizin halesini temsil eden dairesel konstrüksiyonu desteklemektedir. Merkezi anıt tasarımı da tüm meleklerin birbirlerine tutunarak yalnız olmadıklarını simgelemektedir.
And the eternal part of their journey, with the light rising into the sky every year on 6th of February, reminds us that they will continue their journey in another realm, ensuring that no other champions are ever lost again.
Several factors had to be considered while narrating this story. For security reasons, there should be no public access inside the circle; it should only be visible from the outside. Therefore, the corner on the west side of the circle was envisioned as a viewing platform for the monument. Rising towards the center, this section is designed both as a terrace for better visibility of the monument and as a point of awareness where the story of the champion angels is narrated.
The remaining three intersections form sections with name blocks, walking paths, and seating benches behind the blocks. A fluid circulation route of 360 degrees was created to enable visitors to explore the entire monument and name blocks. While creating this route, directing visitors towards the pine grove area was also considered. The Angels Memorial and the surrounding landscaping serve as both a stopping point and a connector for the city.
Finally, the high-powered sky laser light, which will be activated only once a year on February 6th, will complete the monument and make it perceptible from all settlements in Famagusta and its surroundings, reminding us of the importance of never losing another champion and narrating their eternal journey.
Ve yolculuklarının ebedi bölümü, her şubat ayının 6’sında gökyüzüne yükselecek ışıkla, bir daha asla başka şampiyonların yitirilmemesi için bize bunu hatırlatarak yolculuklarına başka bir diyarda devam edeceklerini anlatır. Bu hikayeyi anlatılırken göz önünde bulundurulması gereken birkaç unsur olmuştur. Çember içerisine güvenlik nedeni ile kamusal bir erişim olmamalı, sadece dışardan görülebilmeliydi. Bu yüzden çemberin batısındaki köşe, anıt seyir rampası olarak düşünülmüştür. Anıtın merkezine doğru yükselen bu bölüm, anıtın daha iyi görülebilmesi için bir teras şeklinde düşünüldüğü gibi, şampiyon meleklerin hikayesinin anlatıldığı bir farkındalık noktası olma özelliği de taşımaktadır.
Geriye kalan üç cadde kesişim alanı ise isim bloklarının, yürüyüş yollarının ve bloklar arkası oturma bankalarının olduğu bölümlerden oluşmaktadır. Anıtın ve isim bloklarının tümünün gezilip görülmesi için 360 derecelik akışkan bir sirkülasyon rotası oluşturulmuştur. Bu rota oluşturulurken ziyaretçilerin çam koruluk alanına yönlendirilmesi ayrıca düşünülmüştür. Melekler anıtı ve çevre düzenlemesi aynı anda hem bir durak noktası hem de kent için bir bağlaç görevini üstlenmiştir.
Son olarak, sadece yılda bir kez her şubatın 6’sında devreye konacak yüksek güçteki gökyüzü lazer ışığıyla hem anıt tamamlanacak hem Mağusa ve civarındaki tüm yerleşim yerlerinden buraya dikkat çekilerek, bir daha başka hiçbir şampiyonun yitirilmemesi için bizlere bu farkındalığı hatırlatacak ve onların sonsuz yolculuklarını anlatacak.

• 6 pieces of boneless chicken thighs (adjustable based on the number of servings)
• 1 teaspoon of salt, thyme, red pepper flakes
• 1 teaspoon of black pepper
• Half a cup of vegetable oil
For the Inner Rice:
• 1 onion
• 1 cup rice
• 1 tablespoon blackcurrant
• 1 tablespoon pine nuts
• 1 teaspoon each of black pepper and allspice
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• Mushrooms, as many as the number of thighs
• 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 1 tablespoon butter
• 1 teaspoon salt
For the Sauce:
• 1 tablespoon red pepper paste
• 1 cup water
• 6 adet açma but (kişi sayısına göre uyarlanabilir)
• 1 tatlı kaşığı tuz, kekik, pul biber
• 1 çay kaşığı karabiber
• Yarım fincan sıvı yağ
İç Pilav İçin:
• 1 adet soğan
• 1 su bardağı pirinç
• 1 yemek kaşığı kuş üzümü
• 1 yemek kaşığı dolmalık fıstık
• 1'er çay kaşığı karabiber ve yenibahar
• 1 tatlı kaşığı tarçın
• But sayısı kadar adet mantar
• 3 yemek kaşığı sıvı yağ
• 1 yemek kaşığı tereyağı
• 1 tatlı kaşığı tuz
Sos İçin:
• 1 yemek kaşığı biber salçası
• 1 su bardağı su
1. Start by taking the pounded thigh fillets. Add spices and marinate for at least 1 hour.
2. Inner rice preparation: Sauté finely chopped onions in oil, then add mushrooms. Afterwards, add all the necessary ingredients for the mixture and let it simmer until the rice absorbs the liquid.
3. Stuff each chicken thigh with 1 tablespoon of the inner rice mixture, seal it well, and arrange them in a baking dish.
4. Mix the sauce ingredients well and brush it over the chicken for enhanced flavor and browning.
5. Bake for about 40 - 60 minutes at 200 degrees Co until the top is golden brown.
1. Öncelikle dövülmüş açma butları alın. Baharatlarını ekleyip en az 1 saat marine edin.
2. İç pilav hazırlığı: İnce doğranmış soğanları yağ ile kavurduktan sonra içerisine mantarları ekleyin. Daha sonra karışım için gerekli tüm malzemeleri ekleyip pilav suyunu çekene kadar demlenmeye bırakın.
3. Sonra tavukların içine 1 yemek kaşığı iç pilavdan koyup güzelce kapatıp ters çevirin borcama dizin.
4. Sosunu güzelce karıştıralım ve tavuklarımızın üzerine sürelim. Hem daha lezzetli hem de güzelce kızarması için.
5. Üzeri açık kızarana kadar 40-60 dakika 200 derecede pişiriyoruz.
