Instructions for Scanning a QR Code
If you are using an iPhone:
1. Open Your Camera App: Unlock your iPhone and open the Camera app. You can do this either from your home screen, Control Center, or the lock screen shortcut.
2. Position the QR Code: Hold your device so that the QR code appears in the Camera app’s viewfinder. Adjust the positioning of your phone until the QR code is centered on the screen.
3. Scan the QR Code: The iPhone’s camera is set to automatically recognize QR codes. Once the QR code is recognized, you will see a notification pop up at the top of your screen.
4. Access the Link: Tap the notification to open the link associated with the QR code. This might be a webpage, an app, or other digital content.
If you are using an Android phone:
1. Open Your Camera App or Google Lens: Some Android phones can scan QR codes directly with the Camera app, similar to iPhones. If yours does not, you can use Google Lens, which is integrated into the Camera app on many Android phones, or accessible from the Google Assistant.
2. Position the QR Code: Hold your phone so the QR code is clearly visible in the viewfinder. Ensure the QR code is well-lit and the camera is focused.
3. Scan the QR Code: If your Camera app supports QR scanning, it will automatically detect the QR code and display a pop-up link or button. If using Google Lens, you might need to tap a button to activate the scan.
4. Access the Link: Tap the link or follow the prompt to open the associated content.
Additional Tips:
Ensure Good Lighting: Make sure the QR code is well-lit, without glare or shadows, to facilitate easy scanning. Use a QR Scanner App: If your phone’s camera doesn’t support QR scanning, you can download a dedicated QR scanner app from the App Store or Google Play.
