12 Class of 2021

My Favorite Memory from high school was...

going on the sophomore year band trip to Atlanta. Going to the Coca-Cola museum, Atlanta aquarium, and competing in a big competition with lots of close friends was something I will never forget. Max Lanham going to football games under the lights with my friends is an atmosphere that can’t be matched, but also playing games and spending time with my teammates is something I’ll remember forever. Peter Anast summer football practice. Wes Meziere

My Favorite prospect teacher (and why) was... Kaminsky because he’s super chill. Robert Lumia Brock Collins. He is the coolest guy of all time in every aspect possible. Awesome teacher, awesome person. So grounded and down to earth and kind and HILARIOUS all at the same time. Never felt so comfortable in a class. McKenna Schauer Mr. Mcdermott because he is just so drippy Grace Martin Mr. Camardella: world religions was probably the best class I took at Prospect and he made learning everything so much fun, he’s just genuinely one of the best teachers I think I’ve ever had and I’m so glad I got to take religions with him. Isobel Lebeau

SciO competitions! Or push up competitions in Mrs. Kim’s freshman year HWOC class. Chloe Hensler performing for the last time with Mixed Company before the pandemic. Charles Chengary the outdoor movie night last fall with friends. Matthew O’Brien Lunch Karaoke. It will always remain my favorite day of the year. Rexton Jones going over the speed bumps in the parking lot with my friends. Will Sommers leading the U student section at the Hersey football game this year. Elena Barbaric the Whitewater football trip. Dylan Prete “Mr. Welter. Even though I never had him for science or math, I had him for study hall, and he is incredibly smart and helpful. He was there for me every single day whether I needed help with school or personal issues. He’s amazing. Colton Yousif Ms. Troiano because her room always felt safe and treble choir was always a sisterhood. Jamie Costabile Mr. Camardella. He makes everybody feel like the most important person in the world. He’s a great teacher and always knows what to tell you if you need advice. I’m glad I had the privilege to take his class. Sarah Ryan Mr. Heilman. He has great energy and always can make someone laugh. Fay Zahdan Mrs. Welter. She doesn’t have a single bad bone in her body. She is so nice—like too nice. Emily Cole

either Ms. Bergquist or Ms. Sher“Mrs. Joiner/Mr.Beishir, genuinely win. Both of them let me come into some of the kindest and most engagtheir classes to visit and say hi and ing people in the world. chat about life. She loves her classy. students like they are her kids and Cole Lannert would do anything for us. Mr. Barnum because he’s helped me Erin McDermott become not just a better musician, Mrs. Joiner because of how much but a better student and person. I she helped me with all of my college am beyond grateful for all of the applications and scholarship essays. amazing opportunities he provided Peter Anast me and the rest of the band Amy Collins because she helped me Max Lanham realize I want to be a teacher in the future. She is always so supportive of me and ... is also the most down to earth teachers I’ve ever had. Elena Barbaric

Señora Sapp because she is amazing and so relatable and I had her for two years and was so lucky to have such an amazing teacher like her!! Ioana Nedeva

cheering on the football team with all my friends. Erin McDermott every single football game and band competition. To the football team: I genuinely thank each and every one of you for those nights. They’re so exciting, and when I think of high school I’m going to think of how fun it is seeing you guys win and give it your all. To the marching band: My longest days and best nights were with you all, I’ll never forget how much fun bus rides were, or how great it felt to sweep at competitions. We made some of the best music and I made even better friends. Stay rockin’ pmk :) Mary Lazzaretti football fridays with my friend group. Ioana Nedeva either Mrs.Van Hoy or Mrs.Bergquist, both teachers who I look up to and are big role models. I want to be a woman teaching science just like them and they prove to me everyday it’s possible. Erin Danielewicz Mr. Higdon. He was laid back and had a student personality. He could take jokes and give them. Was also a very good teacher as well. Mike Kobus between Mr. Andrews and Ms. Burnett. Both of these teachers made me want to go to class. Mr. Andrews has an interesting teaching style that was kind of odd but kept things interesting and Ms. Burnett became more than, a teacher she became like a best friend. Georgia Smith Mrs. Bergquist. She’s the nicest teacher I’ve had and she was more like a mom then a teacher to us. Michelle Urdova Mr. Cannon because every time I talk to him he makes me want to run through a brick wall. Will Sommers probably Mrs. Drye because she’s able to get the best out of her students while keeping her class fun. Rexton Jones Mr. Hennig because he’s my guy. Wes Neumann Mr. Weber because he created a welcoming environment in his classroom from day one that inspired me to grow exponentially as a musician, to the point where I’ve now decided to major in music in college. Felix Garkisch Sr. Schultz. I looked up to him like a father figure. If I ever have a problem he is one of the first people I would want at my side ... because he is such a giving person who wants to see his students exceed. Francisco A. Recinos

when I was on costume crew for the musical Chicago during sophomore year. It was by far the most chaotic but most fun show I’ve ever helped with!” Leah Breimon that I kind of avoided football games my freshman year because I thought I had better things to do, but the homecoming game I went to my sophomore year was pretty sick. Georgia Smith when the student section stormed the field when we destroyed St. Viator in football a couple years ago. Robert Lumia going to football games with Sophie Pamolo. Michelle Urdova sweeping the MSL East senior year for football. Wes Neumann Gibbel because she is very involved with students and encourages you to try your best. Matthew O’Brien Mrs. Troiano for every note of music she inspired me to sing these past 4 years. Charles Chengary Mr.Higdon, the most engaging and understanding person in the world. Open to teach anyone anything and dive deeper into their question to push them to learn. Charlie Falkenholm Mr. Garms... he the homie Teddy Lybold Mrs. Weismen. She made math fun and would frequently show us pictures of her dog. Lilly Kazmer Mr. Lussow because he’s the GOAT. Chris Pudlo Mrs. Kim not only because she is hilarious and made HWOC class class so fun every day, but because she is so compassionate, understanding, empathetic, and intelligent. She’s a literal queen. I had the opportunity to interview her about anti-Asian hate during the pandemic, and I learned so much. I look up to her in a special way; I hope to be a thoughtful and powerful Asian American woman like her. I feel lucky to have been a student of hers. Irena Hong Mr. Marnstein because he put up with my loud mouth and made exercise physiology f u n ! Eliot Dojutrek Mr. Sebestyen because he was a great role model and like a second father to me.
