September 15-18:

One of the largest and most prestigious of its kind, the Newport International Boat Show takes over downtown with all varieties of shiny new boats floating in the docks, plus seminars, courses, giveaways, and more. NewportBoatShow.com

For the second year, Frerichs Farm hosts the Ocean State Bluegrass Festival and Pick-nic, featuring Hosmer Mountain Boys, Poor Monroe, and Rock Hearts, along with ra es, food, and workshops. Warren, RIBluegrass.org
