Overwrought Garden Art
Come and explore Overwrought Sculpture Garden and Gallery at Blampied, eight minutes from Daylesford on the Midland Highway. Artist David Dawson and the team have converted an old shed into a unique rustic gallery space. Alongside David’s unique sculptural metal art, the space displays the works of local artists and makers and artisan wares including paintings, ceramics, jewellery, and textiles.
From our gallery, step into a beautifully landscaped sculpture garden where larger works such as furniture and sculpture are displayed. We have created an extensive native garden that incorporates dry creek beds, ponds brimming with fish, creeks, and waterfalls. It is a tranquil haven to explore and relax in, a place of peace to contemplate the art in a natural environment and imagine it in your own garden. To further your experience, we also offer fantastic coffee and sweet treats which can be enjoyed in the garden or café depending on the weather. With all our metal garden art designed and made on site, you can also include a guided tour of our workshop with David in your visit.
