ABOUT ME

"2017, I was in the second year of my diploma in construction, the first time I have been introduced to architectural plan and I did a simple drawing of a residential floor plan with an isometry perspective, it was a euphoric moment from that time on, I'm completely addicted to architecture and I don't know another thing can occupy me like architecture."

To be an intern in your office, it will be a dream coming true to work on a real project and it will be a treasured time for me, to learn from professionals.

STUDIO IV: KIGALI COMMUNITY CENTRE

Kigali is the capital city of Rwanda my home country, as I grew up we had no place called a community centre, but a place like a school or a football pitch acts like a community gathering, election centre (democracy), weeding place,...etc more like a community centre

people there, they have a good sense of community centre as a place which is adaptive space, a classroom can be a room for voting, football pitch can be a government gathering space the main idea was to create a place where will be no rigid programme and more adaptive space architecture point was to reimage how building topology could be done if was not influenced by European colonial, Rwanda architecture was much more organic before the colonial period

I purposed a shell structure which mimics the mountain landscape of Rwanda a country known as the thousand hills

by a used ideal of form finding from physical model to computation model using rhino and kangaroo for physical simulation.

I came up with an optimized shell structure which can be constructed in Ferro-cement special thanks to my best tutor

STUDIO I: RESIDENTIAL AND CLOTHES SHOP

The brief was to create a home of six people with one occupation of a family, I proposed a residential building with a shop of clothes as relevant to the site location, the site was on my campus (Marwadi university), We lack a shop of clothes near campus.

the challenge was to design a building without cutting off existing trees which were mature, the concept came up from visiting of site multiple times, the building designed based on a ridge of the roof which passes through between trees, and the tress was slightly aligned to each other and creating space between, in building space like the living room you have views of the garden with trees.

special thanks to my tutor SIR Dhaval B. Mendha

the 6th semester was about working drawing and designing a 5-star hotel.

in all hotels, luxury is primarily services like other services and it needs to be served

purposed hotel is much more based on the experience of the customer or visit from frontal approaching to point of porch arrival, symmetric arrangement of massing from the diagonal axis of the site to near junction of the roads.

inside the hotel, spaces are filled with natural light and fascinating views of green spaces and poles in spaces like waiting areas, natural light is achieved by using spider curtain walls (glazing )

the main idea of the project was to design a school, not like a conversion kindergarten as a building which is fixed in landscape

I want to make a school where users can crumb up the structure to the roof and from one bay top to another one, with interior space filled with colourful light reflections with a perforated facade made up of louvres which are open up and closing by users, and classroom much like a pavilion

in many cultures education has started under tress and guru teaching children or adults, as the first approach to designing was questioning why education started under the tree, I found out that under a tree there is shade, much comfort zone with cool breezing and ambience of natural light

output from the case study was to create a place where you feel almost like you are under the tree by making four pavilions within each centre has a big tree is symbolic of where education started, and at the centre axis there are hung loops which people can access and central water body as a reflection of life within the building special thanks to my tutor

STUDIO VII: VADODARA HOUSING

The main concept was to give a garden to each flat on the extended balcony like the backyard of the house where you have your own plantation.

2BHK and 3BHK flat has a wide green balcony which can be used as an extension for dining in case of a family party dinner.

2BHK and 3BHK balconies, are intimate spaces for each flat, balcony can be a place of yoga and meditation space special thanks to my tutor SIR DYHYEY
