DESIGN BRIEF – THERE ARE A TOTAL NUMBER OF 188 STUDENTS STUDYING FOR BACHELOR IN AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERING THE FACULTY IS DIVIDED INTO FOUR YEARS PROGRAMS THE SITE IS THE MAJOR HANGING SPACE FOR AGRICULTURE STUDENTS. DIFFERENT AGRICULTURE SPACES AND COMPONENTS ARE TO BE INCLUDED IN THE SITE SO THAT THE STUDENTS, AS WELL AS TEACHERS, GET A BREAK FROM THEIR ACADEMIC LIFE. ALSO, THE SPACE FOR DISCUSSION AND ISOLATED READING IN THE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT CAN BE PROMOTED

Concept

PHASE I: THE INITIAL CONCEPT DIVIDES THE SITE INTO 2 SECTIONS WITH THE PRINCIPLE AXIS PASSING THROUGH THE CENTER SITE FROM NORTH TO SOUTH DIRECTION TWO BUILDINGS THAT SUPPORT THE AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT I E ART MUSEUM AND GREENHOUSES ARE PLACED IN TWO CARDINAL DIRECTIONS

PHASE II: THE EXISTING POND IS PROVIDED WITH AN OAT AREA, WHICH SUPPORTS THE CALMING AND RELAXED SENSATION

PHASE III: LINKAGE IS CREATED SUCH THAT THE CIRCULATION BETWEEN THE AMENITIES IS EASY AND SMOOTH

PHASE IV: PLANTS ARE PLACED ON SITE ON THE BASIS OF SHADING THEY PROVIDE, HARMONY TO THE ENVIRONMENT & KIND OF SPACE THEY CREATE.

PHASE V: THE OVERALL BALANCE OF THE SITE IS RE-ACCESSED THROUGH THE DESIGN DEVELOPMENT

PAVILION AND CENTRAL AXIS

THE CENTRAL AXIS BINDS THE OVERALL GEOMETRY OF THE SITE THE AXIS STARTS FROM THE ENTRY OF THE BUILDING AND ENDS WITH A VERTICAL WALL THAT WILL FRAME THE VIEW OF NATURE

THE MAZE SPACE IS A INTERESTING SEATING SPACE WITH A POCKET OF ZONES AND DECIDUOUS PLANTS THAT PROVIDE SHADE TO THE SURROUNDINGS

PAVILION & SCULPTURE LIE IN THE CENTRAL MAJOR AXIS THAT BINDS THE OVERALL GEOMETRY AND IS LINKED TOGETHER BY THE WATER BODY.
