COROWA TIP Due to legislative requirements and the reduced available waste disposal airspace at the tip, it has become necessary to ensure total compliance with Council’s Environmental Licence. To this end residents of Corowa Shire are advised that putrescible waste is not able to be disposed of at the Corowa landfill. Residents are asked to ensure that their waste is managed by ensuring that putrescibles waste is placed in their 240 litre MGB for weekly collection. Also from this point on only waste generated from within Corowa Shire will be permitted to be deposited at the landfill. Victorian residents will no longer be able to utilise the tip. These restrictions will be enforced until the Transfer Station is operational.
