MAINTENANCE PLANT OPERATOR Applications are invited for the above position within the Corowa Shire Council. The successful applicants should have a Drivers Licence, MR Truck Licence, Backhoe Ticket and a Workcover Induction Card. Water Matters...

WATER RESTRICTIONS Council has resolved to remove water restrictions within the Shire. However, as water is a limited resource, residents are asked to be prudent in their use of water. COMMUNITY HELP NEEDED TO IDENTIFY PEDESTRIAN ACCESS AND MOBILITY NEEDS Council is currently reviewing its 2066 Pedestrian Access and Mobility Plan (PAMP) and would like your help in identifying areas that require improved pedestrian access in Corowa, Howlong and Mulwala. Surveys that ask residents where they walk in their local towns, where they think footpaths are needed and to identify where it is hard to cross the road are available from Council Offices, Libraries and Visitor Information Centres in the towns of Corowa, Howlong and Mulwala. They are also available on Council’s website www.corowa.nsw.gov.au. Please take the time to fill in a survey and return it to any of the above locations by 30 June 2011.
